Lila awed at the sweater Marinette especially made for her. The cloth was a color beige and it was designed with a tree pattern and its branches stretching from her waist to her shoulder. There were also pink and orange flowers blooming on a few branches, and the best part is that it fits perfectly well on Lila.

Lila twirled and twisted in front of the mirror, admiring how pretty she looked in the custom sweater. Alya was not kidding when she said Marinette's works were fantastic.

"If you're done looking in my mirror, I would like you to get out of my room." Lila took a moment away to face the bluenette who had her arms crossed, impatiently waiting for the other girl to respond.

Lila only smiled. It was fun annoying Marinette and terribly easy. The pout on her face accompanied by the small pink on her cheeks made Lila want to laugh at how stupid she looked, and how her pouting really brings out the hidden freckles across her cheeks.

The brunette reached for her purse and brought out the cash she brought with her. The other girl was surprised when Lila extended the cash to her. She looked at it confused and glanced at Lila again, eyeing her with suspicion. "What is this?" Marinette asked.

"Your payment, duh," Lila answered with a roll of her eyes as if it was obvious. "You think I was lying when I said I would pay you? I'm not always lying," Lila flipped her hair, acting as if she was somehow offended. "Besides, you would go rattling out how I didn't pay you for your hard work."

"Alya will stand up for you anyway. She might say I don't even deserve to be paid." Marinette looked away, nervously rubbing her forearm as the brunette stared her down.

"Well, that's bs." Marinette snapped her gaze back at Lila, who was frowning and still extending the bills that she had brought with her. "I like your work and you deserved to be paid. It's that simple." Marinette stared agape at the brunette. Marinette expected Lila to run off with her custom sweater the second she got it, but here she is, still standing in her bedroom and trying to pay for her work.

"Now, accept the money so I could go now. Your room is such an eye-sore." Marinette's previous expression turned into a frown. Marinette sighed and took the money from Lila's hands and watched the brunette exit her room.

... Her room isn't that bad...
