Lila looked past from the test of her book to take a glance at the blunette sitting in front of her. Her bluebell eyes were squinted in focus and her nose was scrunched. Her other hand that wasn't holding the book was twirling the pencil she was holding in an attempt to help her focus. It was cute.
Lila liked this imagery of Marinette. She couldn't see much cuteness from her when she's always glaring at her. But Lila was bored. "Marinetteeee..." Lila whined, breaking the focus of the blunette from the book she was studying. "I'm bored," Lila stated, pouting at the girl in front of her.
Marinette frowned at the Italian and sighed. "If you didn't like studying for the test, why'd you come with me?" Marinette deadpanned. She then wrote notes on the notebook she brought with her while Lila just pouted.
"But Mariiii."
"Don't call me that," Marinette said, glaring at the brunette. Lila huffed in annoyance and laid back on her chair, lazily turning a page on the history book she was supposed to be reading. "Why did you come with me, anyway?" Marinette asked, and this got the attention of Lila.
Lila chuckled and straightened her posture. "I want to be friends with you. Isn't hanging out with each other what friends do?" Lila answered. Of course, she was lying. She wanted to get closer to Marinette and know her weaknesses, her secrets. What will make her trust her and what will make her break?
Marinette only stared at Lila and shook her head. "You can go do whatever you want, Lila. I'm staying in the library."
Lila groaned but was shushed by the librarian. She needed to try harder.
