Ranpo's P.O.V.

That damned case took longer than I expected it too. It's only been two weeks and they piled up at least 50 cases for me to solve. To make every thing better, Kunikida called Atsushi back to the Agency to organize some files!

As much as I trust Dazai, I can't trust him enough to watch Poe at the hospital, especially with that nurse there. She seems like the type of person who would take up Dazai's request for a double suicide. "Ranpo, sir," I looked up at the cop standing in front of my desk, "you never told me who caused this murder."

I looked back down at the pictures played out on my desk, "None of these people killed that girl. The one who did it is sitting at your house about to eat diner that your wife had prepared."

The cop looked baffled at what I just said. "S-she doesn't even know this girl. Why would she do it?"

"Simple, pure jealousy. That girl was dating someone your daughter has a crush on and she went into full yandere mode just so she could have the boy of her dreams. She also thought it would go right under your nose." I lean back in my chair, putting away my classes back into my jacket. "I'd head home straight away if I were you. She's planning on killing again; this time it's another girl who is trying to comfort her senpai."

The cop nods, gathering the case files he brought, and quickly left. Yosano comes over to desk with a book in her hands, "There's nothing in this book that suggests what Poe has. Some sort of blue barrier slowly enclosing around his heart is unheard of in medical science."

"Mmm." I hummed in frustration. "I don't like this one bit. Whatever is going on, it sure is getting on my nerves. Once Poe leaves that hospital then he is going to do everything in his power to keep me away or..." I tapped my finger against the chair arm impatiently, "Something is going to keep me away."

"Are you implying that whatever this sickness is will wind up killing him if we don't find out how to cure it?" Yosano leans against my desk looking puzzled. "This is way more serious than I thought. Perhaps I should come take a look at him."

"You'll just kill him to see if your ability would heal him." I get out of my chair and walked over to the door, "You're power would be useless in bringing him back to life. If anything it'll make him die quicker. I suggest you take a look at him like a normal doctor would." I opened the door and walked out. Yosano followed behind me. "If we take the car then we'll get there before Dazai gets distracted by some random nurse."

"Understood." Yosano grabs the car keys and we both got into the car. It wouldn't take us long getting to the hospital.

Once we get there, I could immediately feel something wasn't right. I took my chances to duck and rolled out of the car while it was still in motion. I ran into the hospital, ignoring the ladies at the front desk, and running straight into the hallway passing Dazai and that nurse. What I originally thought was going to happen is now 10 seconds ahead of schedule.

I slid up to the door, quickly opening the door. At this moment time itself began to slow down as I see Poe outside of the window. His head turned slightly to see me. His eyes clouded over for a split moment making him look like he was a corpse standing there. I could feel the adrenaline rush through my veins when he looked away from me.

"Poe!" I called out to him. He picks up his raccoon quickly then sprinted away. I ran up to the window and vaulted as fast as I could it to save time. He's still far ahead of me. "Poe stop!" I called out to him again while running after him.
Please leave before he gets on...

We both rounded the corner where the bus stop is. I held out my hand to catch him before he got on but he was way to fast for me to catch. He entered the bus right when the doors closed and began to move. I watched him sit next to a window to watch me. His eyes looked sad, like he doesn't intend to keep doing this but he has to.
