Ruhana and Ridhi are two sisters. Ruhana's alliance is fixed with the love of her life, Vineet, who is son of her father's friend.

It's a big bungalow named "Happy Home". It belongs to a businessman Anoop Khanna. He's blessed with a pretty wife and two lovely daughters, who are his lifelines. It's Evening, he is back from office and is having his tea with his wife, Naina. It's a daily ritual that Anoop follows while they wait for their daughters. Naina looks at her husband.

"Aapne Ruhana ko akele hi meeting ke liye kyun bheja?" she asks her husband about their elder daughter.

"She's capable, Naina. Plus, she wanted to meet a friend. Aur waise bhi, hamari beti ab badi ho gayi hai, wo sab kuch sambhal sakti hain." Anoop says confidently.
"Han! Aapne bas meri bachi ko apne jaisa workaholic bana liya hai!" Naina complains while Anoop laughs.
"Oh! Dad! Didi ka toh bahana hai, mumma toh sabse zyada aapko miss karti hain." a young girl enters the garden and runs to her father,crossing her arms around his neck.
"Chup! Kuch bhi bolti hain tu!" Naina scolds the girl.
"I say the truth. Chaho toh Didi se puch lo." She says looking at the main gate.
Another girl enters the house and greets her parents. She is Ruhana Khanna while the other girl is Ridhi Khanna. These two are his lifelines, says Anoop. He asks Ruhana about the meeting at which she tells him that the meeting was a success. Now, the clients want to meet him and the finalise the deal. Anoop smiles at her while Ridhi giggles.

"Deal toh mil jayegi, yay! It's time for party. Let's go out for dinner." Ridhi chuckles and then looks at her parents.
The old couple tend to think, but then Naina smiles and nods affirmatively. They plan to go out for dinner while Ruhana moves into her room to freshen up.
Ridhi follows her up and holds her hand.
" So, how was the meeting?" Ridhi asks.
"Bataya toh! It was beneficial." Ruhana says, looking into her almirah.

"Wo toh honi hi thi! Main toh dusri meeting ki baat kar rahi thi! You know! Did you meet Jiju! " Ridhi asks raising her eyebrows.
"Mili toh bhi tujhe kya karna hai?" Ruhana looks at her sister.
"Arey shaadi ki planning karte hain na!" Ridhi says teasingly.

"Yesss! Main dad ko bata deti hoon. Wo bhi keh rahe they aapki shadi ke liye!" Ridhi says, enacting to be innocent.
"No Ridz! You won't tell anything to dad and mom." Ruhana says.
Oh yes! She's in a relationship, she's in love with a guy from her college and they even work together but she doesn't know if he is ready for the same. Also, she wants to be sure of it and then acknowledge her parents about it. Ridhi jumps on her toes yelling that she'll tell it to their parents. Ruhana runs after her…

"Ridhiii! No! You won't say a word." she shouts.
"I will! I will tell!" Ridhi teases her back and runs out into the living room.
Ruhana runs behind her sister but upon entering the living room, she's left surprised and shocked at the same time.
