We traveled for about 10 miles in two days. We collected berries and water. We didn't stop for longer than a day at a time. As I pulled the wagon behind me on a abandoned road, I looked ahead. I looked at Danny. Then, somehow I knew everything was going to be alright. We would survive. We would find a home and Life would be okay. So we started off, it will be a long journey.
