I ran down the street passing carriers, people crying, and lots of dead bodies. Luckily for me, my favorite books and movies are about the Apocalypse. So I knew just what to do. I burst through the door and was given large hugs from both directions. Once I finished saying hello, and stopped having a panic attack that my parents were ok, I ran straight to my room to pack. I took three pairs of clothes, a few books, some toiletries, and extra under garments. I packed coats and boots with gloves. Then I put on a tank top, jacket, jeans and hiking boots and ran downstairs. My patents were wearing similar attire. We all went to the kitchen, we grabbed every speck we could find. Then we forced everything into our car and drove. We didn't stop for anyone or anything. We drove in silence. I could tell we were all thinking. How could this happen? So little time, so horrible, why? All we knew was this was life now. It's kill, survive. If there was one thing we all knew, it was we needed weapons. So, we stopped at the local police station. We grabbed every weapon we saw. My dad gave everyone a pistol, two boxes of ammunition, and a knife. I told my parents what I knew about killing carriers. They agreed to do just that. We grabbed a bag full of ammo and shot guns, for emergencies. Then we packed and continued driving.
