I can't raise a child.

Hell, I could hardly handle myself. My body was shaking and the whole room was spinning.

What do I do?

I could never abort my baby because it wasn't it's fault. Adoption is an option but I want children and it won't be fair if I gave away this child but kept the others. As I gripped the matching sticks I came up with a decision. At the tender age of sixteen I'm having a baby. My hand was shaking as it felt it's way to my stomach. I don't even have a bump! I still had a flat tummy so no one could know I have a child inside me yet. When should I tell my parents? They won't be pleased for sure but they are going to find out sooner or later.

Tonight,

I will make an announcement at dinner and my baby will be revealed then. I took a deep breath, planning a speech in my head. I have no clue how they will react but I'll pray they won't kick me out. My stepfather had the control in our household. We have a traditional family and whatever the man saids goes. My mother and I have been very disconnected every since she met him, but she still cares about me.

They would never kick me out, I chuckled at the thought.

"Tori, can I have a hand in here!" My mother yelled from the kitchen. I excused myself from the living room and rose from my seat to the kitchen. The room smelled of chicken and mash potatoes. "Thank goodness you're here! Can you do me a favor and take the chicken out the oven?" She asked while tossing a salad.

As soon as I opened the oven I was hit with the smell of fried then baked chicken. It was overwhelming and I could fill my stomach turning. I quickly took a deep breath and pulled the pan out. "This looks great mom." I said to her trying to get her in a good mood for when I break the ice.

"Thanks honey, are you okay? You don't look so good." She asked with a sympathetic look.

"Yea, just trying to get over my cold." I explained turning to the chicken. I felt a hand on my should and turned around.

"You know you can tell me everything, right?" She asked. This made me smile. Knowing my mom still cared for me built my confidence.

I kissed her cheek. "I know and thanks. Now, lets get this all to the table." I said. She nodded and we set up the table together.

I was stuffed. Everyone was gathered around the table talking about their day. "Victoria, have anything to share with us?" My stepfather asked and that was my cue.

"Actually, I have something very important to share." I said with a deep breath.

I wasn't prepared for this but still scared. "Well spit it out." He said impatiently. I looked around the table. My mother was smiling, my stepfather had a raised eyebrow and Darcy looked like she could careless. Well that would all change in a minute.

I looked down nervous. "Well recently I found something , rather life changing, out." I begun. They all were listening closely now. "Please be openminded about th-"

"Would you just tell us already!" Darcy yelled. Here goes nothing.

"I'm pregnant." I looked up to see everyone's jaw dropped.

I heard laughing and soon a plate was throw at the wall and the table was flipped. I screamed and so did Darcy and my mom.

"How!" My step father boomed in my face. I didn't even notice him move.

"I was r-" That's when I remembered Ryan's threat. I couldn't tell them he would kill me and my baby. "I'm so sorry." I said and the waterworks started.
