Untold Love

Chapter 1: Apple's story

It has been three months after the incident with Crystal's family. Stuff has been pretty tame in Ever After High, but since my mother discovered that Darling was the one that woke me from my curse she has been... pushy towards me and Daring to date each other. Today we are supposed to meet at the study ball at 4'o clock to figure stuff out, and I am no where near excited. What happens if he refuses to date me? What am I going to tell mother? I don't want to disappoint her even more, but if I'm too pushy I might ruin things again like when I released the Evil Queen. This is not an easy situation for me, and I'm stressed beyond belief, but I've been able to distract myself with my duties as president of the Royal Student Council.

"School time is over, all students are dismissed"

It's already 3'o clock, one hour before I see Daring. I have an uneasy feeling in my stomach that I haven't been able to get rid off all day, but there isn't much that I can do now. I have to stay as calm as possible, I don't want my feelings to get in the way of my actions this time.

"Hey, Apple!" Maddie appeared right in front of me, seemingly out of nowhere. "SOOoooooo, are you going to join us for the Royal Student Council meeting today?!"

"Sorry Maddie, it seems like the vise-president has to take charge of todays meeting."

"OOOH HOW EXITING!! I WILL SERVE EVERYONE A BUNCH OF TEA AND PASTRIES, I'm sorry that you won't be able to attend Apple, BUT NOT TO WORRY I WILL SAVE SOME TEA FOR YOU!"

"It's fine Maddie really, you can serve me some tea on our next meeting."

"Very well then I'll talk to you later, the vise president has a meeting to attend too!"

Maddie left the classroom and so did I. I went on towards the study ball, with each step I take feeling heavier and heavier. I want to be there early in case Daring comes early, but for some reason I want to hide until 4'o clock strikes, but I can't do that, I have to be strong for my future, and for my families name! I can't give my mother more reasons to be disappointed of me! A true Queen should be able to keep her own life in order, and I'm going to prove that I'm a worthy leader. Wait a minute, is that someone with a huge stack of books-

"WAIT, APPLE BE CAREFUL!"

CRASH!

"OH MY GODMOTHER! APPLE ARE YOU ALRIGHT!?"

"Oh yeah I'm fine I just..." I look up to see who I crashed to and it was Darling.

"OH MY GODMOTHER I'M SO SO SORRY I COULDN'T SEE WELL WITH ALL THE BOOKS I WAS HOLDING!"

"N-no i-it's fine really."

"Here let me see if you are hurt!" She then grabbed my face and brought it closer to her's. I feel my face heating up and my heart beating faster. I quickly pulled away from her grasp.

"NO! No, haha I-I'm fine, really you d-don't have to check on me." How embarrassing I can feel my face turning red!

"Apple!" I quickly faced whoever was calling me. It was Briar followed up with Raven!

"Apple are you ok? Here let us take you to the infirmary." Briar than helped me get up and walked me to the infirmary. Raven talk a bit to Darling and then followed us. I'm honestly great full that Raven and Briar took me out of that situation. It's awkward to talk to Darling, especially since I have been purposely ignoring her these past three months. Right now I feel like it's for the best if we grow distant. Not only am I destined to be with Daring, her older brother, but if I keep talking to her a resentment between the two might grow. I'm surprised it hasn't happen yet, but it doesn't mean it wont!

"Well it looks like were here." Said Briar. The nurse said that I was fine and just gave me a patch. They told me to stay in one of their beds for a few minutes until I felt better.

"So what happened?" Said Briar.

"Oh, nothing much it's just that me and Darling bumped into each other, that's it."

"Yeah we know that, but why didn't you let Darling help you?" Said Raven.

"Well because I was fine, there was no need for her to check on me." Just remembering her holding my face makes my heart go crazy.

"Yeah but you reacted like if you wanted to get away from her as fast as you could."

"Oh and don't forget that you have been ignoring Darling for three months now, not to mention you were literally blushing at her." Said Briar.

"The only reason I've been ignoring her is because I don't want to make stuff harder between Daring and Darling. I think it's best for us to be distanced"

"Still doesn't explain the blushing!" Said Briar in a teasing tone.

"W-well it's just that I haven't talked to her in awhile, s-so I got flustered. But there's nothing more to it! I'm meant to be with Daring, and that's it! The only reason that Darling woke me from the curse was because me and Daring haven't fallen in love yet." Of course I would react in such a way! I've been ignoring her for a while so interacting with her again is obviously going to make me nervous, right?

"Um, Apple I think we need to talk about you and Daring."

"Yeah, you keep denying the fact that he isn't your Prince Charming!" Said Raven "It has gotten to the point that you have asked me to poison you so Daring could wake you up!"

"Well, our destiny is to be together!"

"APPLE I'VE TOLD YOU BEFORE THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW YOUR DESTINY! YOU DON'T HAVE TO FORCE YOURSELF IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH DARING!" Raven seemed pissed now.

"I'M NOT FORCING MYSELF TO!"

"Oh really?! Cause what you are telling me is that you are only pursuing Daring because of your destiny!"

"Ugh, look I don't have time to argue with you right now Raven, I'm gonna meet up with Daring and I'll show you two that we are meant to be."

"Apple please try to listen to Raven. Your too focused on fulfilling the choice's your mother made, and I- we both feel like you're pushing away what you really want in order to accomplish that." I can see concern in both their faces, but I don't have the time to talk about this.

"Look I need to go, but just so you guys know, I do wants this and I'm going to fulfill my destiny no matter what."

Oh no, I'm 10 minutes late! I hope Daring is still there. The study hall shouldn't be too far from- it looks like I'm late. I can't believe what I'm seeing. Daring is kissing Rosabella...

N-no, this can't be! We were supposed to figure stuff out, t-this wasn't how it was going to turn out, I-I... what do I tell mother I just. I can't help but cry, I-I need to get out of here.
