The Puff that Time forgot part 1

Rexy and Sinn were lounging about in Oswin's living room.
It had been...difficult...getting them to adjust.
For example, the surprise that Sinoceratops' ate meat.
That came when Sinn basically took a hunk of raw beef and went to town.
Apparently, that was the reason she was short.
(Imagine Amythest with a bob cut)
"I need meat as a protein substitute." she said, "It helps my bones grow right."
Rexy, however, hadn't needed much of anything.
She needed EVERYTHING.
Everywhere she went, she required what they had.
"I'm queen of the dinosaurs. Therefore I am queen of the Oswin ship. Now give me that remote."
This led to many fights with Sally and Blue.
Scholar had simply decided not to share his opinion. In fact, he had been been out more often because he believed everything was fine.

Blue and the others gathered.
"This has to stop."
Sally nodded. "Look what she did to Mr D." She held up a decapitated teddy bear.
Kaimun sighed. "Sinn has been using my knives as butcher knives."
Echo yelled, "SHE RUINED OUR ILLEGAL FIREWORK OPERATION!!!"
Kaimun looked at her. "You have an illegal firework operation?"
Charlie clapped her hand over her sister's mouth. "No. What's a firework. Heh heh."
"Don't worry."
They all looked to the corner. Delta was standing there smugly, in her usual coat and black shirt and pants and boots.
"I have a plan" she said, looking at her claws daintily.
Sally said, "I know you redeemed yourself, Delta, but I don't fully trust you."
Echo nodded. "Yeah, are you planning to do some weird mad scientist shit on them?"
Delta chuckled. "No....No. All we have to do is take them on an adventure with the Scholar. They'll chicken out at the first sign of trouble."
Sally looked at the others. "Why have we not thought of that?"

Scholar was tinkering in the console room with an interdimensional rift.
"Almost....almost......"
He was attempting to guide it into Oswin's main fuel bay so she could literally go to any place.
Oswin was nervous.
"This feels like an abortion, Scholar."
Scholar chuckled. "It's just an upgrade, Ozzy."
"And....done...how do you feel?"
Oswin did a cartwheel on the screen. "I feel AWESOME!!!"
Scholar laughed. "I did the same to my Psychic Screwdriver. Now we are linked."
He hugged the console.
"Ummm...do you need a moment?"
He whirled around. Sally was there.
"We were just-"
"Adventure. Now."
Scholar was confused. "You never want to go on an adventure."
Sally lied, "I just think Rexy and Sinn should know what they are getting into."
Scholar looked at the console. Then at himself. "Well....I just installed a major engine upgrade. How about we try Time Travel?"
Sally grinned. "Sounds great."

Rexy and Sinn were watching Tv.
They didn't see Scholar sneaking up behind them with an air horn and a megaphone.
He blasted one into the other.
"GET OFF YOUR ASSES!!! WE'RE ABOUT TO TRY TIME TRAVEL!!!!!"
Sinn said, "I think I just died."
Scholar dragged them to the console room and began pulling switches and pushing buttons.
The two looked at Sally. "What did you do?"
She smirked. "If you're gonna be here, you pay your dues. You chicken out on this trip, you're gone. Deal?"
They looked at each other. "Deal."
"GET READY!!" The Scholar yelled. "ALLONS-Y!!!" He threw the new time travel switch.
Lightning struck the Oswin and it spun, as lights and alarms flashed.
"Sally, stabilize the flux capacitor!!"
"Right!!!"
"Blue, monitor the gamma frequencies!!!"
"On it!!!"
"Delta!!! Modify the scanner output and begin portal sequence!!!"
She nodded and set off to do it.
"Kaimun!!! SET A COURSE!! IT'S GONNA BE A ROUGH LANDING!!!"
"OSWIN!! KEEP IT TOGETHER, GIRL!!!! IT'S GONNA BE OK!!!!"
