On the planet of Raxicoricofallapitorious, the Archons had a meeting.
"We cannot allow free will to flourish. The last time it did, humanity entered a golden age."
The other Archons nodded. "We burned Galileo at the stake for it."
The Archon Prime smiled. "Do not worry. I am forming a group that will take on the Scholar."
The other Archons laughed. "Forgive us, prime. But this Scholar is a Mind Lord. Not only that, but the ring gives him the powers of the Mind Lord Supreme. An awesome foe. Nobody can simply stop him."
Then a man walked in, dragging a girl. He had technology covering his face. He was young. And had a pronounced chin. And long floppy hair. He wore a bow tie and purple suit.
The Archons stood up. "The Doctor!!!!"
The man spat. "Doctor no more. Call me Mr. Clever."
He calmly sat down and glared at the Archon Prime. "What is this about? You said never to leave the lab. I doubt they knew I existed."
The Archons Prime adjusted his suit. "You see, the Cybermen of Mondas converted him. He was able to switch between personalities in secret with the help of these pills. The very same ones a Mr. Tim Wright used to switch personalities between Masky and himself." Archons Prime held up a bottle of yellow pills and tossed them out the window. " you remember the deal, Clever. I bring you back, you work for me. Did you get her? "
Clever smiled. "Slave!!!" He barked. " Go grab our recruit!!! "
Clara stood up, like a child and nodded. She whispered, "What is a recruit?"
This stunned the Archons. One of them said, "Our files said she was quite smart."
" Too smart. " hissed Clever. "I had to drain her intelligence. She is little more than a child in an adults body."
Clara stood. An Archon tried to read her mind. All they found were horrible memories.
"Slave. The scarred girl. Fetch her."
She fearfully nodded and ran.
The head Archon looked at Mr. clever. "We will talk with JoJo now. Dismissed."
He nodded and left.
"One more thing, Clever."
Mr Clever looked back.
"Your new name is Interfector."
He smiled.
"Yes, sir."
Internally, the Doctor screamed.
