The Teiko Middle School basketball club.

An incredible team with over one hundred members and three consecutive championship wins. Amongst their brilliant record, the generation of five prodigies was known as the "Generation of Miracles."

However, there was two strange rumors concerning the Generation of Miracles. Despite being relatively unknown and lacking a game record, there were two more members recognized by the five prodigies.

A phantom sixth man.

And an Empress.

Not many knew of the Empress of Teiko. But when she stepped onto the court, everything became overwhelming. The Empress was the one who supported behind. Gave strategies, won games as well, made people fall down before her, and never lost.

Then adding volleyball to that winning streak. She become known more. Her name was Sakai Akira and this is her story with the Captain, Akashi Seijuro.

From strangers, to acquaintances, friends, lover, apart, and restarting with their friendship.

Karasuno

The cool, swift breeze pushes up her crimson red hair away and against her waist. Some strands brushing her face. Akira had just moved to the Miyagi Preference from Tokyo, where she attended Teiko Middle School. She moves away after some broken friendships and him. She steps into school's ground reading the sign on the front, 'Karasuno High School'.
