In the previous chapter:

It was Akira's time to serve, so she decided to go all out in this one. She did her regular jump serve, with her signature spin. She aimed in between two player, confusing each other. Her team got the first point. Everyone was surprised by her power she had. She went again and still aimed in between players, but they managed to received it this time. The opposing team's #4 made a counter. It bounced off Tsukishima arms.

01-01, tied.

Hinata and Kageyama managed to take another point by doing the freak-attack. Again, everyone was surprised that they had an attack like that up their sleeves. Takeda was excited of Ukai's expression. The duo celebrated for their attack. Akira and Kageyama made eye contact, sharing a message just from their eyes.

Tokyo Cats:

Third POV

My job is to simply keep the ball in play. Nishinoya had in mind. He went into a relaxed receiving position. Arms out and on his toes.

Hinata went to the back and did a regular over-hand serve. The ball didn't go that high up, so it ended hitting the net. and falling to the floor. The green's team #4 dove to receive it.

"Sorry! Cover me!" Shimada called out.

Another teammate went and set it up. "Long-haired guy, seal the deal!"

Azumane hesitated. But then he started running up.

"We're stopping him!" Tanaka went up in the blocking position.

Tsukishima and Kageyama were already there, waiting. "Would you please not order me around?" Tsukishima sounded annoyed.

Tanaka didn't pay attention and Tsukishima's remark. "We're playing for realsies, Asahi!"

Azumane jumped and spiked the ball. The ball was blocked by Kageyama, but the force behind it was enough to push the ravenette back. Damn! That's heavy! He thought. Azumane scowled. The object was close to hitting the floor. Just then, Nishinoya slipped his hand under it between the floor. It shocked everyone.

Tanaka remembered when he saw Nishinoya covered in bruises. He burst into tears of joy. "Noya!" Tsukishima stepped away from the second-year.

The ace was surprised at the Libero's fast reflexes. "I'm going to keep that ball in play even if it rebounds off their wall." Nishinoya started saying. "So, please call for a toss just one more time. Ace!"

Sugawara went underneath ball and began thing to who he should set it too. Kageyama interrupted his thoughts and told him to keep on tossing the ball towards Azumane.

"You're such a sadist, King." Tsukishima commented.

"Shut up!"

Azumane was resisting. He didn't want to spike. Then he remember the words of his teammate. That they were there to back him up. The words of the first-year trio. He clenched his hands.

"SUGAAAAA!" Azumane called for the toss. "One more!" He lifted his arm.

The silver-haired setter was surprised. He set the ball for his friend. Azumane ran up and spiked it with all his might. Karasuno's side jumped up for a triple block. The force sent Kageyama, Tsukishima, and Tanaka backwards. The ball went straight to the floor, too fast to receive it. Even Akira was surprised by the strength behind it.
