Josie is pretty sure she didn't fall asleep in Hope's arms. She can actually remember very vividly that there was a safe distance between them when she closed her eyes.

Now, Hope's head is laying on her shoulder, and her arms are holding the brunette tightly and as close as can be. Josie's a little surprised when panic doesn't come as she realizes she's in Hope's arms. All she can seem to focus on is the fact that Hope is warm. The warmth the Mikaelson woman is radiating is oddly comforting to the brunette.

That's probably why Josie ends up spending thirty minutes just laying in bed, and doing her best to not wake Hope up. She can't bring herself to shake her wife up, so she doesn't. When Hope ends up opening her eyes and slightly pulling away, Josie finds herself missing her warmth and her touch, but she doesn't think about that for long. She needs to pee so badly.

"Morning." Hope says, her voice a lot huskier than it usually is.

"Morning." Josie quickly says before gently pushing Hope's arm off of her.

As soon as the auburn haired woman is no longer touching her, Josie gets out of bed.

"Where are you going?" Hope asks as she sits up, looking a little panicked. "Are you mad because I cuddled you? It's not my fault, okay? I always do that. Maya says I'm a cuddle monster. I should have warned you. I'm really sorry. I'll buy you another bed for the time you'll spend here. Please, don't leave."

Hope's rambling totally catches the brunette off guard, and so she stands frozen next to the bed until the Mikaelson woman is done talking. It's only after a couple of seconds that the brunette manages to gather her thoughts.

"A bed?" Josie dumbly says. "You want to buy me a whole ass bed for a couple of days?"

Hope frowns, clearly a little confused. "If it makes you comfortable, then yes. Why not?"

"A bed is not a candy bar, Hope! It costs money. A lot of money. Normal people don't randomly buy new beds." Josie sighs and runs a hand over her face. "The cuddling was fine. I didn't mind. I was only going to the bathroom."

"Oh." Hope says as she does her best to smile. "Uh, okay."

Josie does her best to smile back before heading to the bathroom. She takes her time in the spacious room, finally feeling like she can breathe again. She can't lie to herself. She just had the best night of sleep she's had in a while, and it's pretty clear it had everything to do with being in the arms of her wife. Her cheeks heat up at the thought, so she quickly shakes her head in the hopes of shaking the thought out at the same time.

The brunette makes the cold water run for a couple of seconds before splashing her face with some of it. The coldness of the water makes the breathing easier, and with one last look at herself in the mirror, Josie walks out of the bathroom again.

When the brunette gets back to the bedroom, she finds Hope frantically getting dressed. It's clear to see the Mikaelson woman is in a rush, but Josie can't figure out why since it's barely 7AM. Josie has to look at anywhere but Hope since the woman's white button up shirt isn't all the way done yet.

Josie clears her throat. "Is something wrong?"

Hope's head snaps in Josie's direction, her eyes a little wide with surprise. It takes them about a second to soften, and then Hope's gaze drops as she quickly buttons up her shirt.
