It was Nina's birthday she was at Ians door she wanted to take Ameila for the week, She hadn't seen her in a month and she really wanted to see her. Ian opened the door holding Ameila. The last time she had seen her was before christmas she had came back after doing some photo ops for the new movie she was doing and came back and still hadn't been able to see her."Neens you could have called."

She really hated being away from Ameila and Ian although she would never admit that to him. He was dating Nikki now and she was going to have to be ok with that. As long as he was happy."I needed to see her, can i take her for the next week and a half i'll bring her back on her birthday this month without her was hard."

"Happy birthday Come on in." He opened the door for her and let her in. He didn't understand what she was doing here it had been a month"Where have you been?"

"Not really a happy birthday."She walked in sighing she had really missed her daughter."I've been everywhere shooting the last of Vampire diaries my new movies flying from place to place." She turned to look at him."Can i hold her."

He carefully handed her Ameila who smiled at Nina. He knew that his daughter had missed her mother."She's been crying she wanted to see you."

"I tried to see her two weeks ago but work got in the way and i can't call in everytime they call me to do something." She looked at Ameila who started playing with her hair."How has she been?"

"Cranky."

Nina started tickling Ameila making her laugh."Did you miss mommy i missed you cutie." Ameila started to laugh more trying to get her to stop tickling her. She lifted her up and smiled. She loved seeing Ameila's smile. She looked up at Ian."How is she with Nikki."

"Shy."

"Thats because she doesn't know her and i'm the only women in her life. She only knew me remember she was shy with Candice Kat and even your sister and mother speaking of i am going down there to see them my parents were going to meet me you know our parents are still close. So Can i take her."

"You were already planning on taking her weren't you."

"I gave you christmas and Newyears and i finally got my schedule cleared and Julie extended the break two weeks so i could spend time with her because of my busy schedule i already have bags packed in my car and a plane to be on in two hours. I will bring her back on her birithday but i wasnt to spend time with them and with her please."

"Ok."

Nina got off the plan in Lousianna with Ameila. She grabbed the carseat that her daughter was in and went and grabbed the bags. She walked through the airport spotting Edna and her own mother michela. She walked over to them. She was happy to be spending this time with them all. She felt like a horrible mother for not being able to make time for her own daughter.

"Happy birthday."

"Thanks." She set down the carseat and bags giving both a hug."I missed y'all."

"Same." Enda kneeled next to the carseat tickling Ameila."He let you take her."

"Yes." They each took bags and Nina took the carseat and headed to the house when they got there they headed inside and Nina took Ameila out of her carseat she seen Alex, Josph and Robyn and her and Ian's father. She was happy they had all wanted to do this she needed family right now.

Robyn got up and walked over to her."Happy birthday neens."

"Thanks Robyn its good to see you."

"Same."

Alex walked over to his sister giving her a hug."So how is she."

"Good she stayed asleep the plane ride."

"So he just let you take her,"

"It took alittle convincing but he did let me take her in the end. And i told him i would bring her back on her birthday."

"So since it is your birthday what do you want to do."

"I just want to be with Family and my baby. We can do whatever y'all want." She was just happy to be spending time with them.

The time away from Ameila changed her perspective she hated being away and knowing that she was leaving Tvd and was doing movies was only going to make it harder on her and that scared her.
