Nina knocked on Ians door she was bring Ameila back. Ameila was sleep on her chest. The door opened and she internally groaned."Nikki."

Nikki was really confused."Nina? Ameila what are you-" Ian had lied to her he had said that Ameila was with his parents not with Nina and that upset her.

She took a breath she didn't want anyone to know that she was Ameila's mother it was better a secret she really thought that he was smarter then this"I didn't know that you were here."

Nikki didn't want to indulge in her personal business."I stayed the night not like its any of your business. You have Ameila. He said she was with his parents not with you."

"It's a long story that no one has time for i am just here to bring her back to him. I told him i would return her today. Is he here?"

"No he went out to get a cake and a few other things for her birthday." Nikki opened the door. She couldn't exactly leave Nina outside she figured she would want to talk to Ian even though she didn't trust that."Come in."

Nina walked in with Ameila she was pissed she told him she was coming today with Ameila. But no he decides not to be home and she was not leaving her daughter with Nikki. She hated that Nikki was staying the night what if Ameila had been there."I wouldn't have came if i knew he wouldn't be here."

"It was last minute so what you up and decided that you wanted to take her." She wanted to get all that she could of what Nina would tell her before Ian got back."And had him lie and say she was with his parents."

She knew she was in deep shit now and revealing that she was Ameila's mother was not on the radar."It wasn't a lie i came  here on my birthday to get her and took a plane with her to meet his and my parents so technically he never lied to you." She was not looking to start trouble.

Nina sat on the couch making sure that Ameila was still sleep. Nikki sat next to her."He told me that you were her mother figure."

"I am."

"Should i be worried." Nikki asked.

Nina shook her head she and Ian had been done for a long time even if she sometimes wished otherwise."No i'm simply her mother that is it. Their is nothing going on between me and him. And there never will be he's with you Nikki I just come once and awhile and take her. She knows me as her mother and that is all there is to it."

"Ok fine i believe it, but you just come randomly."

"That was the agreement we signed. I can take her whenever i want. Within reason he has her majority."

The front door opened and Ian walked in with bags both woman turned to face him. He had seen her car and knew that she was here. He was happy that she was an actor for living she could get away with anything."Do you ever call?"

Nina shook her head."I told you i was coming on her birthday to bring her back. You knew i was coming today. What was the need to call."

Nikki stood up she knew they needed to talk and she trusted Nina a little well trusted she wouldn't make a move on him."I'll leave you two to talk this is awkward and it shouldn't be i knew you were basically her mother and that means you have to come around her she knows you as her mother. I'm going to go upstairs." She turned and headed upstairs.

Nina took a breath she stood up adjusting Ameila in her arms."I'm sorry i should have called but i thought that it would just be you here i didn't expect to see her. I was just returning her but Tvd ends soon and i don't know the next time i'll be able to see her i have movie deals coming up and things that i have to do. I'll try to see her as much as possible but i'm not sure how much that will even be. I quit the show if you continue that is on you but i'm done. She wants 13 seasons i don't think i can do that anymore i'll come back whenever she decided for a series finalie but only them" She hated leaving her daughter but she couldn't stay things were changing to fast he was already settling on someone else and the show was no longer fun she wanted a change she needed one.

"Ok."

"I should go she'll be waking up soon i took the first flight out you deserve to have her for her birthday after everything thanks  for letting me take her on mine."

"No problem."

She carefully handed Ameila to him she didn't want to leave but he had a life and although she knew it would be at least a month before she seen her baby again she didn't have much of a choice."She was up the whole flight and half of the night she wouldn't sleep i gave her some medicine. I think she's catching a fever it is early January after all."

"I got her."

"Well i have to go movie to shoot." Nina walked out the house leaving them.
