"I really do appreciate you giving me a chance to hangout with you . . . Outside of your bedroom." Taehyung uttered, wishing to create some conversation in the awkward silence.

Jungkook's and Taehyung's 'date' was a lot more talkative compared to this.

Taehyung just tried to remain patient. He knew the two were very different and what worked for one might not work for the other.

"Really? You don't regret it?" Wondered Jeongguk dully, figuring he could contribute to the makeshift conversation.

"Of course really. I don't know why you think I would regret it." Taehyung replied soon after, no hesitation.

"Well, I'm not really doing much for this so-called date. Besides now, I think I've said about four words." Jeongguk kept his gaze forward, not matching Taehyung's glances. He didn't want to look over.

"I like your company more than your words. Your words can either be really harsh or really sarcastic." Admitted the elder, appreciating the side-profile of the Jeon Twin.

Jeongguk snickered lightly at that, knowing it was most likely true. "Ah, well, in that case, you're welcome. And . . . I guess I'm not entirely mad I decided on coming along."

That had Taehyung's lips parting, eyes looking up at the NFL player. They walked down the path, just like Jungkook and Taehyung did, without the bird seeds.

"Really? Really-Really?" He sounded much like a child, eyes bright and a forming smile making its display across his face.

"Yes, Tae, really-really." Jeongguk rolled his eyes, unable to control his own smile.

The twin had repeated some mental notes in his head. By mental notes, he meant Jungkook's wise words.

After everyone had 'went to bed', Jeongguk found himself back in the kitchen with stale cookies in his hand.

The only difference was that it was Jungkook who came down the steps and not Taehyung.

"Why are you up?" Jungkook wondered, getting closer and soon snatching away the packet of cookies, wanting to enjoy some himself.

"Why does it matter?"

"Why can't you answer?" Jungkook took out a few cookies, handing it back over to his brother once he had his share of stale goodness.

Jeongguk frowned, looking at the package in his hand briefly before he set it aside. "I've, uh, I've been thinking." He spoke softly. "I don't think I'm going to go out with Taehyung."

"Why not?" Jungkook questioned, mouth full of cookie. He walked to the table and took a seat, not wanting to stand and hear Jeongguk's poor reasoning as to why.

"No." Jeongguk responded.

"No?" Jungkook cocked a brow, looking up at the slightly elder with a confused look.

"No. If I tell you why, you're going to find a way to make me change my mind. Namjoon rubbed off on you way too much with your logical bullshit." Jeongguk could already sense the future and what opening up brought.

That made the younger snicker, not sure if he should feel honored or not. "Well, we'll never know unless you decide to inform me on why you suddenly think not going is the best solution."

"You've already started with the manipulation, trying to make me feel bad." Jeongguk narrowed his eyes.

Jungkook shook his head. "I'm not trying to make you feel anything, Gguk, I'm seriously curious."
