"That was the worst hour drive in my life. The long flight to America was better than that bullshit." Jungkook stretched out his limbs after exiting the vehicle, getting the sweet smell of Daegu air.
Seokjin rolled his eyes. "That's not the case, it wasn't even that bad. Don't act like you didn't bust out a high note when Bruno Mars came on." He chuckled.
The younger huffed. "I had to show you clowns how it's done because Namjoon's screech wasn't cutting it."
Jimin was dying, hearing them bicker back and forth. Namjoon took the insult, putting his hand dramatically on his chest. "How rude! I totally was on key!"
"And I'm as straight as can be." Jungkook mocked, pretending to do a small hair flip to prove how 'straight' he was.
It was only moments later when Hoseok's car finally pulled up, parking directly behind Seokjin's.
Jeongguk exited the back of the car, immediately finding and standing by his brother. They really grew close to each other.
Yes, they were close to one another when they were younger but they really grew to one another. They didn't like being too far for too long. The car ride wasn't too bad since they were heading to the same place and both surrounded by trusted friends.
The moment they could be together, they were. Everything they had the opportunity to do together, they did. Jeongguk and Jungkook really relied on one another, they were always going to be there for each other.
Their twin code was bad enough back then but they really used it now. They understood their looks more, knew when to take a step back, and learned when the other half needed a bit more attention than usual. They really grew onto one another.
"The event — which is more like a yearly parade to relax and have fun — starts in two hours. We can meet back here if you guys want to? We'll just go in groups and do our own thing until then!" Seokjin grinned.
"So much for reuniting." Jeongguk muttered.
"Are we going straight from Daegu to Busan? After the parade?" Jungkook decided to ask.
Namjoon shook his head. "No, we were going to spend the night here and just get a move on in the morning."
"We wasted money on a hotel we're not going to use?" Jeongguk inquired.
"Hey, no one said to get three nights at a hotel." Hoseok intervened.
Jeongguk huffed, rolling his eyes. "Well, no one told us we would leave Seoul. Why would we all meet up there if we were going to Daegu anyways?"
No one answered because he made a good point, mumbling an 'exactly' after the fact.
"Anyways," Seokjin dragged out. "Me and Namjoon wanted to go try this nice noodle restaurant a few blocks down. It's called the 'Black Swan' if you guys want to come with. Really nice and high end. Like me."
"We should go!" Hoseok said, smiling at his boyfriend.
Yoongi sighed. "Um, how about no? We can take a look at some of the gift shops."
Jeongguk and Jungkook drowned them out, turning to one another. Their faces both read, 'where to' but not either of them knew. That's when Jimin joined back into the story and added his two cents.
"Can I come with you guys? I don't want to third wheel with their couple bullshit." Jimin smiled up between the two of them.
"You would third wheel with us too. We're twins, we kind of talk more to each other than anyone else. You're best alone." Jeongguk dismissed.
