"So, how was the date?" Jungkook grinned and asked, pushing the penthouse door open. He looked into the living space. The smile he once wore slipped away into a frown.

No one was there.

He thought for sure the two would be making out on the couch or massaging one another. To his surprise, no one was down here, no life filling the living room.

"Gguk? Taehyung?" Jungkook called, shutting the door behind him. "Where are you guys?" He asked but it was more to himself, furthering into his home.

Jungkook walked throughout his house, searching around for the duo but he couldn't find them anywhere downstairs. He then began his journey upstairs, brows furrowed.

He was confused, hoping the two weren't fucking again. Jungkook didn't even get a chance to put it in and they did it twice? Totally unfair.

Jungkook got to Jeongguk's bedroom, pressing his ear to the door and listening closely. It was silent.

The twin couldn't be anymore confused than this. He brought his fist up and knocked, waiting for an answer but one never came.

He slowly pushed the door open when there wasn't a sound to be heard, looking around the large bedroom.

Jeongguk nor Taehyung weren't there, both vacant.

"Huh . . ." Jungkook pulled away and left the room, walking a bit further down the hall to get to the guest room, also known as Taehyung's room until further notice.

Like his brother's room, he knocked and waited for an answer. Which, surprisingly or not, he got one.

The pitter patter of footsteps could be heard growing closer to the door, eventually leading to the door being pulled open.

There Taehyung stood. His eyes were red and puffy, dried tear-stains down his face. Quite a shocking look of you asked Jungkook.

"Wait, what happened? Why are you crying?" Jungkook hectically asked, seeing the boy start to get emotional again.

"I-I . . . I don't know." Taehyung rubbed his eye, trying to avoid eye contact.

"Where's Jeongguk?" The younger asked, beginning to get an uneasy feeling deep in his gut. He didn't expect this to be what he came home to, he much rather have walked in on the two doing it.

"He left awhile ago, said he needed fresh air." Taehyung asked, holding back any stutter he threatened to release.

"He left?" Jungkook repeated. "What happened? What did I miss?" He asked, brows furrowed and lips parted.

"I-I don't want to talk about it." Taehyung said brokenly, wiping his eyes. "Just . . . Please,"

Jungkook didn't want to bug but it bothered him; it was eating away at him. He didn't know what happened here or why Jeongguk decided that he needed fresh air.

He didn't respond any further and pushed up, quickly taking himself out of Taehyung's room and going back down the steps and to his front door.

He didn't even recall seeing his brother outside.

Jungkook took his phone out and immediately went to his brother's contact, calling him. He could hear it ring in his ear as he went down the elevator, which, by the way, seemed to be going awfully slow since he was in a rush.

The wary and uneasy feeling only worsened as the phone rang, his mind spinning in spirals as he tried to figure out where his brother took off to.

Jungkook could only imagine what happened while he was gone, especially told by the sight of Taehyung crying. He just prayed to whoever was listening that his brother was okay and well.
