You & Me - James TW--------------------------
"Miss Turquoise, your phone is ringing." Shaun said from his position at the entrance of my bedroom.
"Oh thanks." I picked up my phone that was vibrating on my dressing table and checked the caller ID before answering, "Hey Vi,"
"Turquoise," Philip's twin sister said, "how have you been?"
I laughed. "Umm, I've been doing great. Why do you sound like you just won a real live unicorn at a carnival?"
"That would be the awesomest thing ever but unfortunately that's not the reason why I sound like this,"
"Did you have too much vodka?"
"There's no such thing as too much vodka," she snorted, "I actually wanted to let you know that there's a surprise for you here at the house."
"What kind of suprise? Is it a gallon of wine -because I seriously need some right now- or a unicorn bouncy house?"
Violet laughed, "You'll see when you get here but I promise there'll be wine,"
"I'll be there in 20. Bye."
"Bye."
I quickly quit sorting out my wardrobe and changed into comfortable clothes before leaving the house unnoticed. Only Shaun and Timmy were right behind me.
"You guys don't have to come with me," I stopped in my tracks and turned to look at both of them.
"But we do, Miss Knight," Timmy responded.
"Don't worry Miss Knight, we'll keep our distance." The gleam in Shaun's eyes as he spoke told me that he knew everything. Well he has been following me around for the past 2 years.
I huffed. "Fine."
I got into my car and drove to Philip and Violet's house.
After ringing the doorbell Violet opened the door for me and literally yanked me into the house.
"Vi-"
"Go, go," she cut me off.
"Where?"
"Upstairs, he should be done taking a shower by now."
Philip?
I rushed up the stairs and barged into his bedroom. I found him standing next to his bed, buttoning his jeans that hung low on his hips, hair still wet and shiny.
"Angel," he grinned at me.
My impatient self leapt into his arms as I gave him an intimate hug. I felt Philip breathe in my scent from my neck.
After pulling away from the hug I kept my hands on his chest and he kept his arms tightly wrapped around my waist.
He stared into my eyes "I've missed you. I was actually just about to call you,"
"Well Vi beat you to it." I said with a smile, "When did you get here?"
"About an hour ago. I'm so happy you're here."
Philip pressed his lips against mine before I could respond. Our lips molded together in a passionate kiss, I knew it would quickly get heated and I pushed him onto the bed before climbing on top of him and sitting on his waist.
"I'm sorry for leaving you when you needed me,"
"No, Phil-"
"Turquoise, please listen to me," he spoke sternly with his hands on the sides of my head, "when you lost your parents I vowed to always be the shoulder you could lean on...and when you had to get engaged to someone else I still stood by you. Then now I just...bailed on you." He finished with a sad shrug.
