Happy Lifelong Confidants Day 2022!
Hi Turtles!! Though we haven't had much food to munch on (except that adorable 5 second interaction at Weibo Night 2021) since #LifelongConfidants in September 2020, we have been strong and hopeful!

Wang Yibo chuckles at the username and the irony of the comment. He switches off the television, and rushes upstairs, excited to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Getting married in Vegas on an impromptu trip had been the best, worst idea he ever had and he still doesn't know how he got Xiao Zhan to agree.
He pauses at the door to their bedroom. They bought this house in his mother's name and they still keep their old apartments but it is such a rush to call it their bedroom. He smiles and gently tugs at the key shaped pendant hanging from a silver chain around his neck. It's almost as if it's calling out to the lock pendant that his husband always wears. Well, at home, at least.
Xiao Zhan sits up in bed, already dressed in his gray bunny patterned pajamas, making grabby hands at Yibo.
Later that night, as they lay in each other's arms, Xiao Zhan can't help but laugh.
"What's up, babe?" Yibo murmurs into Xiao Zhan's neck.
"You think I'm a 'pretty baby'?" He smiles, shy even after all this time.
"You are the prettiest, and you are my baby, so yeah." Wang Yibo kisses his husband.

"But it's so much fun!" Yibo rubs Xiao Zhan's back.
"Wang Yibo, are you even human?" Xiao Zhan grumbles. "Nope, don't answer that, you're a gremlin." He nips at Yibo's ear.
"Yeah but I'm your gremlin," Yibo laughs as he traps Xiao Zhan's lips in a kiss.
