In that mirror was someone's evil spirit, and that evil spirit was from the house where James, Kevin and Anne got that mirror or book too.
There was lived a boy in that house, that boy's name was Alan, he was a college student. His dad was a paranormal, but due to greed, an evil spirit had come over Alan.
Which caused Alan was die, when he died, his head was on his book, Alan and that evil spirit settled in the mirror placed in his room.
