I woke up with to a pounding headache and... the smell of Minsik's signature rolled omelette. Slowly, the events of last night slowly replayed in my mind. I couldn't recall getting home or getting into my bed, so that meant Minsik must've helped me out. I sat up as I heard him walking toward my room, hastily using his jacket that I found next to me to cover myself since I was in the dress from last night and the neckline was quite low cut. I didn't know why, but I felt like Minsik seeing me in such an exposing dress felt weird. I never wore anything like that near him, mostly because I didn't have time to look cute when I had to babysit him on Fridays.

"I made some breakfast," Minsik said, setting the tray on my nightstand. "So do you remember much of last night?" he asked quietly, looking down at his hands.

"Yeah, I remember being mad at you, then the guy that spiked my drink, and I remember getting in your car. Oh, and the flowers." I looked at my nightstand and found Minsik had put them there. Minsik's eyes widened and I assumed that he he probably didn't know about the guy who spiked my drink.

"I'm gonna let you change and eat, I'll be in your living room if you need me," he awkwardly said before exiting my room. I got up with a sigh, wondering if our friendship would ever be the same and why Minsik had chosen to spend the night in my apartment since he was sober enough to drive home and my couch was definitely not comfortable for his tall self. After I changed and washed away the makeup from the night before, I sat down to enjoy the omelette Minsik had made, which was still warm. He was a great cook, so I definitely enjoyed my breakfast. Afterwards, I took the tray and headed to the kitchen to wash it, passing by the living room.

Minsik got up and followed me to the kitchen, offering to do the dishes. I accepted his offer and went to my medicine cabinet to find something to help my headache. After finding what I was looking for, I got a glass of water and swallowed the pill. I hopped up on the counter next to the sink, facing Minsik, who was concentrating on the dishes, avoiding my eye contact. It was weird to see him like this, all shy and nervous. Finally, Minsik finished the dishes and as he dried his hands, I put my hand in his and practically tugged him to my couch. "Talk," I said simply as we sat down.

"I'm sorry for putting you through so much and taking you for granted and I'm so glad you didn't leave because," he paused, looking into my eyes, "I love you, Vanessa."

I froze, not knowing what to say. That was definitely not an I love you as a friend and my mind became jumbled as I tried to process his words. "Wha- since when?" I stuttered out.

"I guess I have for a while, but I just hadn't realized it." Minsik nervously rubbed the back of his neck.

My body was moving faster than my mind, and I leaned toward Minsik, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek. I felt my face go red and saw that Minsik had a huge smile on his face.

"C'mere," Minsik murmured, opening his arms.

I complied, practically jumping into his arms. His cologne smelled amazing, and I buried my face in his chest as he kissed the top of my head. We both fell asleep soon after, and I have to admit, Minsik made a good pillow. I tried to get up to go to the bathroom, but Minsik's arms wouldn't budge even though he was asleep. "Minsik," I murmured, gently blowing air on his face.

"Hmm," he hummed. "You're so cute," he said, rubbing at his eyes before kissing me on the forehead.

"I need to get up," I said in a whisper since he was right in front of me.

"Why?" Minsik whined.

"Need something." I really didn't want to just say outright that I needed to piss.

"You can get it later," he replied, tightening his arms around my torso.

"Minsik, I need to pee," I whined. With a chuckle, Minsik finally released me and I got up and headed to my bathroom. After finishing up my business and washing my hands, I looked at myself in the mirror and saw how wild my hair looked. I ran a brush through my hair a few times and then made my way back to Minsik on the couch. He was holding the flowers from last night, and I gave a questioning look.

"The purple ones are for forgiveness, the red roses are for love, and the white ones are for extra love," he muttered quietly under his breath a few times, unaware of my presence.

"Hey," I said softly, and Minsik finally saw me standing in front of him.

He held out the flowers to me and slowly repeated what he has earlier, trying hard not to mix up the flowers and their meanings. It melted my heart seeing how hard he was trying, for me

"So, will you forgive me and let me be your boyfriend?" Minsik asked with a hopeful tone in his voice.

"Yeah," I murmured, instinctively raising my hand to cover the smile on my face as my heart pounded. This is what you've always wanted, my subconscious said. And this truly was what I wanted.

Minsik gently lowered my hand from my face and asked, "Can I kiss you?"

I leaned closer in response, and Minsik pulled me even closer, pressing his lips to mine in a sweet kiss that I savored as I threaded my fingers through his hair. We finally pulled away from each other to catch a breath, both of us laughing.

Minsik laid down, pulling me with him. "You're my world. I love you, Vanessa, and I'll never take you for granted again," he whispered, with a sincere smile.

"I love you, Minsik," I said as I watched his eyes light up at my words.
