Chapter 14

  During the breach, I saw an opportunity that I could escape. I didn't initially want to take the opportune time of finding my way out, but I heard a loud roar nearby and ran for my life.

  I had a feeling I was going to end up running into one of the guards, but I didn't mind that. As long as I was with someone that knew what they were doing, I was fine.

  I did end up running into one, but they were acting differently. I saw blood all over the place and when I got a closer look, I saw that they were dead.

  I was terrified that a dead man was walking, but it only got worse. More and more of them appeared, at least 10-15. I was defenseless and didn't know a lot about hand to hand combat.

  As I was about to killed, possibly eaten, something grabbed my wrist and took me away to the safety of a nearby elevator.

  Once I caught my breath and calmed myself down from the mass amounts of adrenaline pumping throughout my body, I got to see who 'saved' me.

  It was SCP-049. I only recognized him because one of the other D personnel mentioned having to go to the entity's containment cell for an experiment. I didn't like the sound of it, but I listened in on the conversation they were having with someone else.

  Describing it as a tall figure with a medieval outfit consisting of a plague mask, leather robes, and gloves. It was said that everyone thought the mask was literally attached to his face. That wasn't the case however.

  Anyway, after spending a decent amount of time with Jos- I mean SCP-049, I've gotten to know him decently well.

  Although, we did get caught by MTF guards after the breach calmed down. After a few, of what I assumed was 'days', I was taken to another room to be interrogated by Dr....

  Oswald. Dr. Oswald.

  Oh, uh, thank you for the assist. Anyway, after we talked for a little bit, 049 came in. Now I was confused by that, but I felt calmer than before. It was weird.

  After a couple of minutes, Dr. Oswald was wanting SCP-049 to touch me and see what would happen. They gave me the key to unlock the cuffs. Once I released his wrists Dr. Oswald continued the 'experiment'.

  Once 049 touched me, they wanted to know why I was immune. I told them I didn't know why, but in reality I did. I didn't want to tell them cause then, the creature inside me would attempt to get out and kill them. Possibly causing another containment breach.

  Once they tried to apprehend me and put me in a containment cell, said creature came out and started to protect me like a mother protecting its young.

  I was scarred as it does have four different forms being day, night, dusk, and dawn dependingon the time of day. It was in dusk form, it being a lot more dangerous. As it was protecting me, I saw 049 on the otherside of the room and ran over to him and left the room as quickly as we could. Though, before the creature inside me killed the guards, there was a containment breach.

  I thought it was convenient timing that we just so happened to be running for our lives to prevent being killed. After a while of running, we hid in an office space an waited until the coast was clear.

  And that's when I started to befriend SCP-049. After a long while, we came in contact with SCP-096. When I found out that I could look at his face without anything happening, we worked together.

  That's how I befriended 049 and 096.

"D-3176 seems to have kept something from our first interaction, I may be incorrect but it never hurts to dig deeper. I may need to continue these recording sessions to keep in her files for later use. As far as I can tell, SCP-049 and SCP-096 have bonded. It's unknown as to how these things have, but I guess more experiments are to occur later with the three. We need to keep a close eye on D-3176 for the time being however. She is currently under the 'Euclid' class and being watched 24/7. So far, she has kept to herself and makes small talk with the guards. There are times where SCP-9985, the thing with her, would appear. We are attempting to get close to it, but have failed several times due to it thinking we might harm D-3176. Until then, we will keep these records in her file. End recording."
