Chapter 10

  You were back in the foundation. Mammon and 096 were sound asleep, but 049 was nowhere to be seen.

  You get up from the couch, deciding to walk around for a bit. You take what seems to be 049's cloak, and put it on. It was a little big on you, but it was comfortable.

  The lobby was quiet large. Adorned with potted plants, desks, posters about "safety", and many other things. There were some documents on the desks, but nothing really interesting.

  As you walk around, looking at some random gadgets and little nicknacks the employees had, you heard someone walking up the hall.

  You hurry back to Mammon and 096, just in case it was one of the MTF guards. The person walking rounds the corner.

  It was 049. You calmed yourself down getting up from behind the side of the couch.

  049 saw you and smiled.

"Hello dear. Sleep well?"

  You adored his little smile, but you didn't feel so great when you saw it. Your stomach was starting to hurt a little.

  He took notice of this and hurried up to you. He was confused and a little scared.

"Are you alright?"

"I- I don't know. My stomach hurts for some reason."

"You must be hungry then."

  He stood up and looked around for anything you could eat. Yeah you were hungry, you haven't eaten since the day before the breach, but the pain was different.

  As 049 was looking around, he found SCP-294. He walked up to it and looked at the keypad in front of him. He typed in "soup" and by command, came out a cup of hot soup.

  'Perfect', he thought. He took the cup and headed back to you.

  You were curled up like a ball on the couch. You saw 049 walking back.

  'He looks a lot different than what I imagined him without his cloak on. He looks cute.', this time you let your thoughts go through. Your face felt warm.

  You tried to hide it with his cloak you still had on. He came up and handed the cup to you. He saw your face and your reaction to hide it. He chuckled a little.

  Oh how much you adored him and his smile. You drank the soup he gave you. You felt a little better, but there was still that little hint of pain from earlier.

"Are you comfortable?"

"Hm?"

"Are you comfortable wearing my cloak."

  He gestured to the garment you had on.

"Oh. OH. Yeah, it's pretty comfy. Do you want it back?"

"No, no it's okay, you can wear it. You actually look-"

"What?"

"N-nothing, my dear."

  You were confused, but you had a theory on what he was about to say.

"You gonna sit or just stand there?"

"Oh, um..."

  He sat next to you. You could tell he was a little stiff. You nudged him a little and he reacted by jumping a little.

"You alright?"

  You giggled at this. Seeing him so jumpy wasn't really normal of him, but it was cute.

"I'm just...not used to people...seeing me without my mask and cloak on."

"Oh, well you shouldn't be so anxious about it 049. I like the way you look."

  You smiled at him and without realization, your hand made its way to his cheek. He placed his hand on top of yours and smiled.

"Josef."

"What?"

"My name. It's Josef."

  You were surprised by this. You thought he didn't even have a name and yet he did.

"I like that name."

  His smile grew wider.

"(Y/n), I've been meaning to tell you about something that's been on my mind for quite a while."

"What is it?"

  You were quite curious about what he was going to say. He was hesitant, you could tell.

"I- I..."

"You don't have to tell me if you don't wa-"

  You were cut off by him placing a kiss on your lips. You were definitely shocked by the gesture, but gladly returned it. He relaxed that you returned his gesture. You both broke apart for air.

"I guess that's one way of explaining how you feel."

  He laughed a little at your comment.

"I guess so my dear. I...I love you (Y/n)."

"I love you too, Josef."

MAN THIS WAS QUITE A CHAPTER AIN'T IT??? Anyway, I hoped you enjoyed this chappy cause I know I did. So his name was basically a name off the top of my head and I also liked the name so even better. I'm sure you saw that I gave this book a title and a new cover. The cover was drawn by me and the title was given to me by mein Freundin. There is more to come and I hope you'll like it.
