The both of you continue down the hall, as you walk you wonder if 096 and Mammon found anything yet.
That is until...
*B A N G*
You heard an extremely loud bang, almost like an explosion. You and 049 were confused about the sudden noise.
"Uhh, what was that?"
"That's a good question my dear."
You both walk down the hall to check the rest of the rooms, but there's nothing useful..of course.
Turning the corner, you run into 096 and Mammon. Seems like you guys were walking in a circle, probably. Either way, you all managed to at least find something of use, well not really.
A level 2 key card that 049 found, some files that Mammon found, a...crowbar that 096 found, and you found nothing.
"Ok, I can and will say this. That crowbar will be of use that's for sure, the key card...not so much, and as for the files...depends on what it's about."
You all start walking down the hall to investigate the loud noise from earlier, but find nothing. You continue to walk, but the silence grew more and more, making you feel uncomfortable.
Without realizing, you grabbed 049's hand. He noticed, but didn't say anything. He enjoyed holding your hand though, he didn't mind it at all.
You soon realized what was going on and your face started to heat up a little. 049 noticed this as well and gave you a smile. You couldn't really see his face because of the mask, but you could see his mouth. Just that faint little smile he gave you made you blush even more.
You still held onto his hand even if you were a little nervous about how you felt at the moment. So many thoughts and emotions went through you. You didn't even know what to think, especially when it came to 049.
As you were stuck in your thoughts, 049, too was stuck with his thoughts.
~049 PoV~
'Why can't I think straight? Is it because of (Y/n)?' I thought to myself. I was only holding her hand, what could be wrong with that?
I look down at her. 'She is so ador- no, no stop that train of thought. She probably doesn't feel the same way'. I sigh internally, hoping these thoughts will go away, but they won't. They keep coming back again and again and again, wanting me to tell her, but I just...can't.
"049? 049, you alright?"
I was snapped out of thought by (Y/n) shaking my arm.
"Hey, you okay? You stopped walking and your eyes looked blank there for a bit. Is everything alright?"
"What? Oh! Yes, I-I'm fine, don't worry about me, dear."
'Damn it. Why didn't I tell her what was wrong. I'm so confused by these feelings, I've never had them before.' I thought as we began walking again.
She did seem worried about me, she shouldn't though. What am I saying, I'm just an "SCP" that has no feelings towards anything or anyone. I'm just some "entity that causes harm upon others" or what other names the guards and employees call us.
~2nd Person~
Y'all continue walking down the hall until you enter what seems like a lobby of some sort. You notice 049 has been awfully quite for some time now. He seems...stressed. About what though?
You go sit on a couch in the lobby like room to take a rest from walking so much. Your legs were killing you.
049 took a seat next to you as well, giving a faint smile. You smile back.
The longer you sat there, the more tired you became. You started to fall asleep, laying your head on 049's shoulder without realization. You soon fell asleep.
049 on the other hand, was a blushing mess. You looked so peaceful while you slept. He picked you up, laying you down on the couch to sleep.
(Ok, so just to let you know, this 049 is my version of him. I will show you guys what he looks like in the next A/N)
He took off his cloak and covered you with it like a blanket. He sat on the floor in front of you. Mammon noticed him without his cloak on and was quite intrigued that it could come off.
Mammon and 096 went over to them and sat there also taking a quick nap. Mammon, curled up next to 049 like a dog and 096 layed on their side next to the couch.
After a few minutes, 049 also fell asleep.
Everyone was peacefully sleeping. Mammon and 096 would wake up here and there taking turns to keep watch, but 049 and (Y/n) stayed asleep the whole time.
Everyone was at peace for the time being.
