So the SCP that lives within the reader, being you, is an OC of mine. The SCP is a Euclid class and can tend to be a Keter class as well.
It does have different forms depending on the time of day.

These are the different forms and looks of SCP-9985. (the number is randomly generated)
SCP FOUNDATION DESCRIPTION
If the day is during the day, it's only 5'3" being easy to contain, but still take safety precautions anyway. Can be calmed down with the scent of rose and jasmine.
If it's during the night, it would be 6'8" being a little harder and dangerous, but can be calmed down with the scent of rose and jasmine.
Dawn is a lot worse being at a height of 6'5", but the height doesn't matter. The SCP needs to be put under sedation and have a harness on at all times when turning into the dawn form. It must also always have a mask over its eyes, or else whoever looks into them will be frozen and fall apart into dust within 2 seconds. (as recent research study shows.)
Dusk is at a height of 7'8". The SCP needs to be put under the heavy containment zone due to mass destruction and apocalyptic events. If let loose, the SCP will chase down any personnel within a hundred meter radius and send them to the underworld it speaks of. If the SCP is contained, no less than 10 guards should keep an eye on the SCP and make sure nothing happens to the glass or container it's in. No D class personnel and/or scientists with less that level 5 clearance are to enter it's containment area. The SCP is highly dangerous and should not be let loose in any circumstances, even if the day is turning from dusk to night and the SCP is transforming. No one enters the containment area and cell during the time of dusk.

So the SCP can tend to be easy to contain, but can also be really hard to contain as well. And you the reader have that SCP living inside you, hence the dream sequences. It's sounds confusing, but the more you read the story and understand what's happening, you'll be able to conclude the SCP and the person you act and read as.
