A/N: A bit on the shorter side, but I hope you like it anyway! Let me know your thoughts!
"I still can't believe I can't perform with you, guys..." Winnie pouted as she stood backstage with Blaine, Mike and Brittany, helping them out with the last touches in their impromptu choreography that they were about to perform for the rest of the kids. "This sucks..."
"You're still healing, Winnie." Blaine pointed out as the girl groaned.
"I know, but it's disco!" She pouted like a child, causing all three of her friends to laugh. "I love disco!"
"Tell you what, when you get better, I promise we'll perform the song again with you." Mike said, as Brittany and Blaine nodded.
"Really?" She smiled when they agreed. "Awesome. Now, go out there and break a leg. Not literally, though. Wearing a cast is a pain in the ass!"
Blaine and Mike laughed as Brittany frowned a little.
"I thought it was your leg that hurt." She said, causing the three other kids to laugh again.
"It is, Britt." Winnie chuckled with a shake of her head. "It was just a manner of speech."
"Oh." Brittany nodded, even though Winnie could see she was still a bit confused.
When she walked out onto the stage with Mike and Blaine for their performance of You should be dancing, though, she completely forgot about it and, just like the boys, gave it her all to the performance. When they were done, everyone cheered and clapped and Mr. Schue stood excitedly from his seat to walk over to the four of them, considering Mike had gone to retrieve Winnie from the side of the stage to stand beside him instead.
"Wow, guys, what brought this on?" Mr. Schue asked.
"Well, we know this year's Nationals theme was Vintage, so we thought we needed something old, but something with a lot of energy." Blaine said. "So we thought: disco."
"Absolutely." Mr. Schue smiled, as he turned to look at the rest of the kids, still sitting in the auditorium. "I don't know if I ever told you guys this, but back when I was in Glee Club, we took it all the way to Nationals with the pure power of unadulterated disco."
Mike and Winnie exchanged a high-five at that, but they seemed to be pretty much the only ones- except Blaine and Brittany - excited at the prospect of doing disco.
"Hum, well, there's only one problem with that idea." Puck said.
"And what's that?" Mr. Schue asked, as all the other kids groaned.
"Disco sucks!"

Winnie squealed quietly when she noticed the vintage dance floor in the middle of the choir room. Oh, if this was what she thought it was, this was going to be a great week for her.
"Did someone steal our floor?" Brittany asked, confused.
"Don't worry, we'll have it back by the end of the week." Mr. Schue said. "In the meantime, Sue has lent us her..."
"My very own personal, one-of-a-kind, lit-from- within, shatterproof, Plexiglas dance floor." Coach Sylvester finished Mr. Schue's sentence as Winnie smiled, all excited. "Modeled, of course, on the dance floor immortalized by a young, musky John Travolta at the height of his potency in the legendary dansical Saturday Night Fever."
"Coach Sylvester, while we applaud your proper use of the terminology, we told Mr. Shue we do not support disco in this room."
"Yes, we do." Winnie mumbled, as Mr. Schue nodded.
