Scenario: Kaoru (Cherry) and Kojiro (Joe) have four kids, Hiromi (Although the preferred name for the late teen is Shadow), Langa (He's 10 years old, preferred to be called Snow because he loves the snow), Reki (A bright ball of sunshine that loves getting into trouble, he's 8), and Miya (he's in on the trouble-making that Reki creates. he's 4).

"Mom?"

A young boy with hair similar to fire ran through the hallway, he had heard something in the kitchen and wanted to check what it was.

"Mom..?"

The sound of the fire-head's footsteps bounced through the hallway, the little boy hated the fact that it was a particularly long hallway. He stopped right in front of the doorway to the kitchen, after gathering enough spirit he pushed the door open. He looked around the room noticing there wasn't anything out of the ordinary and with a breath of relief he stepped into the kitchen making sure his footsteps were soft. He circled the kitchen island slowly, he stopped when he saw legs on one side of the island. His eyes widened and tears fell as he figured out who it was.

"Mom?!" The little boy cried out.

The fire-head ran towards his mother who laid on the floor, unmoving. She had blood moving down her lip and she appeared to have a wound on her right side. It was bleeding profusely and the little fire-head tried everything he could to get it to stop, all the while he was trying to get her to wake up.

"Reki.."

The fire-head started sobbing, he begged for his mother to come back. To wake up.

"Reki!"

The fire-heads eyes shot open, the first thing he was met with was his little brother's hands on his face. The raven-haired boy was kneeling on the bed beside Reki's chest. The two boys shared a room which made sense as to why the raven was in his bed.

"Miya?"

"You were talking in your sleep!"

Reki sighed and sat up, he wondered why Miya hadn't gone and got Cherry or Joe. Their room was just on the other side of the hallway.

In another room, Shadow was playing video games when he heard soft voices in Miya and Reki's room. He paused his game and stood up softly, his other little brother, Langa was sleeping only a few feet away. It only took a little bit to wake him up, that's why he usually played his game on silent. That and the fact that he wasn't even supposed to have it on in the first place. If Cherry found out he probably wouldn't have video games anymore. He opened the door slowly and made his way into the hallway, this was a regular thing for him. Whether it be sneaking out, which he rarely ever did, or getting food, or even checking on his brothers.

He opened the door quietly and stepped inside which grabbed the attention of Miya

"What's going on?"

"Miya said I was talking in my sleep."

Shadow nodded, he knew what that meant. A while back, before Miya came along, Reki, Langa, and Shadow all shared a room. Reki had a hard time sleeping by himself but didn't want to sleep with their parental figures. He loved hanging out with Langa so he slept with them in their room. The problem was, Langa's bed was too small and had too many stuffed animals on it that they couldn't move anywhere else. So what bed did that leave? Shadow's bed. Reki wasn't that bad to sleep with, he just had frequent nightmares and would sometime's sleep talk. Langa often sat awake with Reki but they got too loud, well the fire-head got too loud, Shadow was tasked by their parental figures to stay up with Reki if the time came.
