Scenario: He stepped gingerly onto the bridge knowing that enchantment awaited on the other side       (Story is loosely based on scenario)

Light had no idea what he was doing near a bridge, something called him to it. Maybe it was the guilt from using the death note?

No. He was going to be the god of the new world. There was no reason why he should feel guilty. 

Then what was it?

Was it L? The detective was dead, thankfully.

He had won!

But..there was still something eating away at him. All the fun was gone now.

He sighed as he stepped carefully onto the bridge and stared down into the river below. He was a good 10 feet up. He continued walking until he was in the middle of the structure, he shivered as the air became colder.

"Tell me Light..has there ever been a point in your life where you've actually told the truth?"

He jumped as the voice of the peculiar man echoed throughout the area, he whipped around to find that Ryuk was the only one behind him.

"Oh?" 

He scowled and turned back towards the water, he must be hearing voices. There's no way that he had heard L just now.

"Well, Light?"

The water warped and behind him, in his reflection, he was sure he saw L!

"What are you talking about Ryuzaki?"

He heard a cackle behind him from Ryuk, he ignored it and continued staring down at his (their?) reflection.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about."

"Do I?"

"Do you?"

He grumbled at the detectives mind games, even after death he was annoying.

"We've talked about this before, I stretch the truth every once in a while. Tell me one person that you know that has never told a lie."

"Perhaps you're correct. But that's not what this is about."

Light sighed in frustration "Then what is this about, Ryuzaki?"

L shifted where he stood, it was almost like this river was some sort of alternate dimension.

"I'm talking about that fact that you're Kira."

"Even after death you're still going on about that.."

The silence was deafening before Light broke into maniacal laughter "..but since you can't do anything about it anymore..you're right! I am Kira. I win!!"

L smiled softly "That's where you're wrong."

Light froze, there was no way. He was just bluffing!

He heard guns being cocked behind him

No!

He whipped around to see the team surrounding him.

"There's no where to run, Light!"

Light looked behind him at the crystal clear water, L was standing with them.

He started laughing again, this was just getting too good!

"This is how you're going to treat the god of the new world?! How dare you!"

The ex police officers stared at him in shock

"Why Light?"

Light was about to say something else when he felt a hand pull on his shirt and yank him into the water. The last thing he saw before he crashed was the smirk on Ryuk's face and the teams shocked looks forever plastered on their faces..

Light jerked awake, his heavy breaths sounded out through the room. His eyes darted around frantically as he took in the area around him

"Are you alright, Light?"

He sighed and looked at his wrist, he was still  handcuffed to him.

He looked up at the peculiar detective, said man had his computer sitting in front of him and he had this weird look in his eyes. Curiosity maybe? Or could it be..concern?

Light silently stared back before laying back down, and with a sigh he placed his arm over his eyes

"It was just a nightmare."
