You rolled off of Bucky's naked body with a satisfied sigh. He chuckled as he turned onto his side to face you. This was your second time having sex and it was a lot better than the first. It was more hot and desperate and holy hell was Bucky a sex fiend in bed.

You felt your eyes drooping close and then opened up again when you felt Bucky caress your cheek, "Don't fall asleep, sugar. Gotta clean you up first."

You groan as you pull yourself up, "Alright. Let's go now." you grab his bed, tugging him out of bed with a grunt.

He lets out a breathy laugh as he crawls off the bed after you towards the bathroom. While you're looking as your crazy sex hair in the mirror, Bucky turns on the shower. While he waits for the water to warm, he comes up from behind, hugging you and kissing at your neck. His scruff tickling your skin, making you giggle.

Bucky groans, "That damn giggle drives me crazy, sweetheart."

You push him away with a chuckle, "Down boy." you see that the shower is steaming now and you grab a hold of Bucky's hand, leading him inside.

You step in and then he does. The water cascading over the both of you as you hold Bucky close. Bucky reached around you, grabbing the shampoo bottle. He opened it and then you grabbed it, "Here. Let me."

You squirted some shampoo onto your hands and then set the bottle down. You then reached up and lathered it on Bucky's scalp. Your nails scraping against his head causing a pleasurable sensation. You continued to massage the soap into his head, the feeling so good, he found himself closing his eyes.

You then lathered body wash onto your hands, massaging the soap onto Bucky's body, adding pressure in the right spots, and leaving a gentle touch to others. This was so intimate, but in a nonsexual way.

Bucky doesn't remember ever feeling so cared for before. He doesn't even remember when the last time he showered with Dot was. It was probably before Becca was born.

As the water washed away the soap, you pressed kisses along Bucky's skin. Shivers ran through his spine with every kiss and gentle touch. He particularly liked the feeling of you washing his tummy. He smirked when you scraped the underside, a teasing gesture which resulted in a pinch to your hip.

"I couldn't help it," you say with a giggle.

Bucky missed this. The feeling of intimacy. The feeling of gentle touches. The feeling of being cared for.

He hadn't realized how long it's been and it brought tears to his eyes.

The fondness in your eyes turned to worry, "What's wrong?"

He shook his eyes and just set his hands on your hips, "Nothin'. You're-You're just so perfect, sugar."

He let the water wash away the few tears he shed and then proceeded to return the favor of washing you up. All the roughness, the sweat, and his seed being washed away and replaced with tenderness. He massaged your shoulders, put tension-freeing pressure on your lower back, and raked his fingers through your hair like you did with him.

You could feel his compassion for you.

"I adore you, Y/N." he mumbled. The soap washed away from your body, swirling about your feet and down the drain. You both were feeling refreshed and renewed now.

Bucky turned off the shower and led you out. He grabbed two towels from under the sink's cabinet. He dried you off with the same gentleness he had when he washed you. You did the same with him and he leaned into your touch like a needy kitten. It was adorable and little disheartening. You mentally cursed Dot for hurting such a wonderful man. But you also thank her, because without her malice and ill-will, you wouldn't have the man you now adore with you in this moment.

"Bed?" Bucky's voice is soothing and soft, like his touch.

You nodded, that fondness back in your eyes, "Bed." you both fall asleep in each other's arms, soft and naked, and with each other's gentle touch.
