As requested by anonymous: What about Chubby! Bucky being nervous about meeting readers parents/family?

Bucky had asked you to drive when it was time to meet your parents while he sat anxiously in the passenger's seat. Becca sat in the back playing a game on her iPad, completely unaware that her father felt like he was ready to explode.
You glanced at Bucky while you were at a stoplight. His leg was bouncing like crazy and he was gnawing on his lip. You simply reached over and grabbed the hand closest to you, "Hey," he looked at you with worried filled eyes, "It's gonna be okay, Buck. My parents will love you."
Bucky loosened the tie around his neck, "I just-I've never really had to do the whole meet your parents thing, ya know? Dot's parents were faculty members at the high school we met at. Her dad was my football coach and her mom was my math teacher. I already knew them and they knew me and I didn't need to worry about making a good impression. But with you and your parents? This is a clean slate and-I just-I really want them to like me, sugar. Like Becca."
You continued to drive when the light turned green, your hand still intertwined with Bucky's, "And they will. They'll love both of you." you pulled his hand to your lips, pressing a kiss to the back of it paired up with a reassuring smile, "You have nothing to worry about."
Time goes by and you're parked in the driveway of your childhood home. Your eyes bounce back to Big Barnes and Little Barnes, "Alright. You guys ready?"
Becca smiles, "Let's do this thing!" with the utmost confidence a young girl can have.
Bucky smiles and agrees, "Yeah. Let's do this." It wasn't as excited as his daughter's but contained some enthusiasm.
You led the helm as you hopped out of your car and walked up the path to the door. You rang the doorbell and waited patiently for someone to answer, "Just be yourselves, guys." The door swung open and a pair of arms wrapped around you. You chuckled, "Hey, mom," you hugged her back.
She looked over your shoulder and caught eyes with Bucky. He gulped and gave a sheepish smile as he waved, "Uh, hi, Mrs. L/D, I'm Bucky and this is my daughter, Rebecca."
She waved, "I like to be called Becca."
Your mom pulled away and gave a nod to the two Barnes', "It's nice to meet you, Bucky and Becca. I'm Y/M/N. Come inside, please!" The three of you followed your mom into the house and to the living room, "Make yourself at home! Would you guys like anything to drink? Bucky, we have beer."
"A beer would be great, Y/M/N. Thank you," Bucky looked to his daughter, "Bec, water?" she nodded and Bucky confirmed, "Water for her, thank you." The two Barnes' looked around the living room, taking note of the little knick knacks and pictures scattered around.
Bucky chuckled as he picked up a frame that contained a picture of you smiling, your two front teeth missing, "Cute."
He showed Becca and she snickered, "You look funny."
You rolled your eyes at both of them and grabbed the frame, setting it back down, "I was seven! Gimme a break!"
Your mom came in and set the drinks onto the coffee table, "Y/N, help your dad with the barbecue outside."
You nodded, "Fine. Behave yourself!"
"We will!" Bucky and Becca replied, which made your mom chuckle.
"So, Bucky..."

"Mom said you need help?" you asked as you stepped into the kitchen.
Your dad nodded, "Yeah. Take the ribs out of the oven please while I finish up the chicken here."
You already eyed the food that sat ready on the table, "Geez, you guys didn't have to make this much!"
Your dad shrugged, "We didn't know what they'd like so we figured to make a bunch of everything!"
You rolled your eyes as you pulled the ribs out of the oven, setting them on the counter. Using tongs, you moved them onto a serving plate, "Well, at least we got some food to bring home."
"See! There you go!" you giggled at your dad's...dad-ness.
"Need any help?" Bucky asked, popping into the kitchen. He walked over to your dad, hand stretched out, "Hi, Mr. L/N, I'm Bucky."
Your dad shook his hand, "Nice to meet you, Bucky. And call me Y/D/N. So, Y/N said you're a cop?"
Bucky nodded, "Yes, sir. A sergeant at my precinct."
"Thinking about being captain someday?"
He shrugged, "Maybe, but my best buddy, Steve, he's got that position right now. And lemme say that it doesn't look too appealing from what he's told me."
"I can imagine. And you got a daughter, right?"
Bucky gestured over his shoulder, "Yeah, Rebecca. She's ten and she's my world."
"Hmmm..so you were married before?"
Bucky's eyes went to you and you shook your head, "You don't have to talk about that if you don't want to, Buck."
Bucky gave you a reassuring smile, "No, it's okay, sugar. Actually, sir, yeah. I was married to my high school sweetheart. Things didn't go well. She, uh, she cheated on me. Found some hot, younger fella to be with."
You went over to Bucky wrapping your arms around him, "Which, I think, was a blessing in disguise since we wouldn't be together now if it wasn't for her."
"Yeah. I guess you're right."
"They always are," your dad said with a laugh. He then eyed Bucky, "Just, take care of her for us, alright, Bucky?"
He nodded, "Honestly, sir, I think she takes care of us more than I take care of her," as he said that, he peered at you, a look of love and compassion in his eyes.
"You're a sap, Sarge," you said as you pecked his lips.
"Only for you, sugar."
"Can you pleeeeaase stop kissing now?! I'm gonna lose my appetite!" Becca says as she stands beside your mom.
All of the adults laugh and you step away from Bucky, "Sorry, Bec." you then take Bucky's hand and leads him to the table where the feast awaits.

Becca is fast asleep in the car and you're saying your good-byes to your parents. Bucky shook your dad's hand and then hugged your mom, "Thank you, Y/D/N and Y/M/N for being so welcoming to my daughter and I. I-" he pauses to laugh to himself, "I was actually really nervous to meet you guys."
You dad nodded in understanding, "Meeting the parents is always hard. But it's okay, Bucky, we approve your relationship with our daughter. You're a good man and great father."
Bucky let out a breath of relief, "Thank you, sir. That means a lot to hear."
"We'll let you guys go now. Drive safely."
You kissed your parents on the cheek, "We will. Bye, guys. Goodnight. Love you!" and you and Bucky slid into the car, a large sigh coming out from the both of you. You smiled wide at Bucky, "I told you!" but then quieted down after realizing that Becca was asleep.
Bucky silently laughed, "Yeah. Yeah. You were right. I had nothin' to worry about." he took your hand and kissed it, "Home?"
You nodded and started up the car, "Home."
