                 Hailey was guided to the quarantine blocked where she was placed into a square next to tatums, she immediately saw the kid curled up on the small cushioned bed holding her knees to her chest so she walked up to the clear plastic wrap and smiled, "hey kiddo" she spoke softly.  Tatum sat up at the sound of that voice, "hails?" She turned around and laughed in joy at the sight.  Hailey smiled, "how you doing?" She placed her hand against tatums, on the plastic of course. Tatum shrugged, "scared" she looked around at the people who were in the same brown clothes she was in. Hailey smiled reassuringly, "well I'm here now, and your dads in the waiting room. So you don't need to be scared anymore" she nodded. Tatum smiled at the sound of her dad being in med with them, "how'd you get in here?" She added.

                   Hailey smiled, "I came into contact with an infected victim" she nodded.  Tatums eyes widened, "so you have it?" She enquired out of worry.  Hailey smiled sadly, "I don't think so honey, we're just waiting to see what my labs say" she shrugged.  Tatum nodded, "well they told me I don't have it but I'm staying in here for 48 hours until I'm cleared" she sighed, thinking about the whole other day she has after this one ends.  Hailey smiled, "you'll be outta here in no time" she laughed a little but the pair were drawn to another batch of quarantine victims who were being lead into blocks by doctors with hazmat suits on. Tatum sighed, "what if I catch it?" She looked back over to hailey. The detective shook her head, "you have to make contact with the disease babes, trust me, as long as you're inside this block you won't get it" she smiled weakly. Tatum sighed but nodded, "I'm not allowed to see my dad am I?" She looked down.

Haileys hook her head but frowned, "not until your times up sweetheart, I know you wanna see him but at least you have me now" she tilted her head and tapped the plastic in front of them since Tatum had a tear in her eye, the kid nodded thankfully and laughed a little, "see that older woman over there?" She smiled and nodded in the woman's direction. Hailey nodded, "she thinks the government did this, said that she saw a man in a suit spraying her apartment complex with this magic stuff" she laughed a little. Hailey perked up a little, "she did?" She nodded, this could be something important. Tatum nodded, "yeah, that's all she's talked about since we got here" she sighed in annoyance. The blonde nodded before standing up and grabbing the doctors attention, "hey, I need you to find a way to get my partner in here. My names detective hailey Upton with intelligence, I may have some crucial evidence regarding the outbreak" she sighed hopefully.

A few minutes later the same doctor
walked back into the blocks with jay following behind, both girls instantly stood up at the sight of him but jays eyes immediately went to tatums, "hey honey, you're gonna be okay you know that right?" He smiled sadly. Tatum nodded, "yeah..." she spoke softly. Hailey smiled weakly, "Tate said that the older lady over there keeps saying she saw a man in a suit spraying this magic stuff all over her apartment complex, the same complex that was boarded up for quarantine" she folded her arms and stood close to the sheet of plastic between the partners so he could hear her. Jay nodded, "yeah, Hanks got reports of a bug exterminator been seen fleeing the building, he was also seen leaving 6 other buildings after doing the same thing, and guess what? They're all. Quarantined too, Hanks sent out a BOLO for the vehicle, I'll keep you posted" he nodded.

                   The doctor walked back over to him, "you gotta leave sir" he nodded since his time was up.  Jay looked ver at hailey, "I'll see you soon" he nodded the looked over her shoulder at Tatum, "see you real soon tink" he smiled and pressed his fingers on his lips before waving to her.  Tatum done the same thing, it was their way of blowing a kiss, before he left.  Hailey smiled, "we're gonna be out of her in no time" she sat down as Tatum followed her actions.

Roughly 2 hours later a mini riot broke out, people were demanding that they were let out since they had no symptoms and they were threatening to leave against orders. It didn't take long before people started thrashing the play is wraps around and running out of the quarantine station. Both girls stood up in a panic as Tatum started to worry, "look at me" hailey tried to get her back. Tatum was hyperventilating a little, "c'mon Tate look at me, it's okay. Just stay where you are, we're safer in here" she put her hand out. Tatum nodded and calmed herself down as people were running around everywhere.

                    At around 10:23pm Natalie walked up to haileys block, "good news, your cultures are free. You're good to go" she nodded.  Hailey stood up as Tatum watched them, "so I can go back to work now?" She smiled hopefully.  Natalie nodded, "yeah" she smiled.  Hailey looked back down at Tatum who now looked worried again, "it's okay honey, remember what I told you yeah? You're gonna be okay and I'll see you soon just like your dad will okay? Keep being brave for us" she winked.  Tatum nodded weakly, she hated being alone in this situation.  Natalie nodded, "don't worry, I'll keep her company" she let hailey out and switched places with her.  Tatum smiled thankfully as hailey gave her one last pitiful wave, hopefully this next day flies in,..
