Miranda was walking down the hallway to go to the attending's lounge. She had to get her stuff to go home. She saw a man that looked to be Ben at the nurse's station and as excited as she would normally be to see him. She just couldn't right now. Miranda turn on her heels walking away.

"Miranda." Ben said looking up. He had just so happen to look over.

She ignored him and kept walking. Ben jogged up to her and grabbed her arm, stopping her.

"Oh hey Ben. I didn't know that was you." Miranda lied.

"Miranda I know you know my voice. What's wrong." Ben asked.

"Nothing i-" Miranda stopped and looked around. "Follow me." Miranda said dragging him to the nearest room which was the conference room. She shut the door, locking it so no one would barge in.

"Hey." Ben said looking at her. She looked different and he couldn't really place it. The last time he had seen her. She was gaining her weight back but maybe she had gained all of it back.

"Hey." Miranda said softly.

"Miranda why haven't you called me. I just want to hear your voice and know that you are okay. Miranda I need to talk to you.

Miranda stared at him. Why was this man so handsome? Why was she so drawn to him?

"Miranda remember that day on the island and you asked me why wasn't I married and I told you because I haven't met the one I can't live with out, but I did." Ben said slowly.

Miranda felt her heart drop down into her stomach. He found a woman. He loves someone else. It hurt her to the core but it was probably best.

"Miranda I have been waiting for you. It's you. I love you. I am in love you." Ben said honestly rubbing her hand.

"What? Ben I can't hear this. I can't." Miranda said snatching her hand away from him.

"Why because you don't want it to be real. You can't tell me that you don't feel our connection. I am connected to you,

And don't lie to me Miranda, I know you feel it too. I want to be with you." Ben said seriously re grabbing her hand.

"You can't expect me to just drop my whole family and give up 13 years for you Ben. That's not fair."

"Miranda I love you." Ben said

"I know that without a doubt. I love you."

"Ben." Miranda begged putting her hands up and backing away.

"Miranda look me in my eyes and tell me you don't love me." Ben asked walking close to her grabbing her hands.

Miranda couldn't. She wouldn't tell him that because she did. She loved him. She also loves Tucker but she wasn't in love with Tucker.

Miranda's eyes watered and Ben knew the answer. He pulled her into him and kissed her feverishly. Miranda let out a breath. Ben was exhilarating. She had been walking around feeling like a zombie these past couple of days and this man brought her to life.

Ben then backed away and put his finger under her chin, lifting it up to look at him. "Miranda, I can't let this go. I can't let you go and I don't want too." Ben said leaning down to kiss her once more.

Miranda kissed him hard and passionate. Everything that would describe how much she love that man; hard and passionate. Ben lifted her scrub top rubbing his hands across her stomach and Miranda moved his hand pulling it down. She needed to tell him that she was pregnant.

"Ben I-

"shh. Miranda just feel. Let yourself feel what I know you feel. Bash in it with me." Ben said cutting her off and kissing her once more.
