Notes:

Hello, it's been almost two months since I last posted. I think I last posted on April 6th, and it's already the end of May. I apologize. However, I had so many papers to write that I didn't even have time to sleep. I am so sleep-deprived that even though my classes are over, I've just been sleeping for like 3 days to catch up.

Anywho I'm back, and I'll probably be updating more often as I am officially in summer, and I'll only have two classes, so it won't be as hectic as previously.

Also, I've had some life-changing plans that I'm going to start doing. I was originally going to go to school and get my bachelor's, and I start working, but I decided to instead of going to work immediately after my bachelor's, I'm actually just going to go for my master's because, in the end, it'll be easier for me because I won't have to go back to school and from the get-go, I'll get paid more money.
It's only two more years of school, and I like school, so it's not that bad of an option. Especially since a lot of schools are online nowadays, it gives me more of an opportunity to do that. Also, I haven't seen my campus once, and at this point, I'm going to graduate without ever seeing it, and it's going to suck.
So maybe with this, while I get my master's, I can actually experience college life on my new campus. So I think that's what I'm going to do, which I'm excited about.
However, I have to change my major right now because I'm moving a little bit too slowly to be graduating next year with my bachelor's in secondary education. I think I'm just going to have to switch it to an English major and a secondary education minor. If any college and or informative people understand what I'm talking about.

Anyway, this chapter is super long because originally, I was going to cut it into two different chapters, but I didn't end up finishing the second chapter, so I just added it to this chapter, so I didn't make you wait longer for it the next part.
I was originally going to leave you guys off at the cliffhanger again, but I decided to finish it and be done with it, so I don't have to leave you all hanging for another few days or weeks if I update quickly.

**I wanted to address something that I realized I often put in this chapter. I know Madam Pomfrey is a character in Harry Potter, and Merlin is introduced to her. However, he is not familiar with her, so whenever Merlin refers to her or thinks about her, he's going to think about her as a Medi-witch. I noticed it while writing, but I feel like unless he gets really comfortable with her, he wouldn't call her by name. But that's all a little side note.**

Luckily for Merlin, the next time he regained consciousness, he was not in a mist of battle or still bleeding out or in pain. No, now he was sitting in a white room alone, and he felt really good like he had taken a good long nap. A white divider surrounded the bed he was lying in to give him privacy. But it was eerily quiet, Merlin thought it was a hospital, but it was really quiet. Merlin stretched and yawned and stood up, almost tripping from laying down too long. He pulled the sheet away and looked around the room. It was a hospital, and once he recognized it. It was definitely the hospital at Hogwarts. Merlin was here for a while when he spent time at Hogwarts; he was extremely clumsy. It wasn't something he grew out of, clearly.

Merlin looked around, but he was alone, no children in sight, no medi-witches, no professors, only Merlin, alone. Merlin wasn't one to sit and wait, so he walked around. He found a mirror and got to see the physical results of the fight he was in. The scar marring his face was grizzly. It was a single jagged long cut from the bottom of his ear disappearing down into his shirt, stopping on his chest. It was a curse, so a normal witch or wizard couldn't do anything about it. But Merlin could get rid of it, pretty easy, really, but he had made a decision before he fainted, a decision he should have followed beforehand, but he was being dumb. Merlin has made the decision from this point on not to stand out. So if it means leaving a scar on his face, so what? It didn't hurt, so who cares. He definitely didn't care about public image. Only in terms of his business, and there, his products were really the face of his company, so he didn't really care.
