"Stop running right now!"
I turn back for a seconds and see its Jason
"Please. I can help you"
I grab Jamie's hand and We stop for a second as he starts running towards us
"What do you mean you can help us?" I say
He finally gets to us and pulls out a handgun from behind him
Jamie and I both gasp and back up
"WAIT! Take it. Its to protect yourself... OH! I also got these.." he pulls out two granola bars and hands them to us
"Thank you. But we need to go now." I say and we turn back around
"Wait! They're not coming this way. I told them we should split up.. I knew you guys were in the water... I needed to get them away from you so you could get up and have a chance to escape. You deserve it." he says with a small smile
"Thanks.. Lets go Jamie." I grab her hand and start running towards the house again
After a while of running up the hill and getting cut up from thorn bushes and trees we finally get to the front porch of the house
"There is a light on inside.. That means someone has to be home, Right?" Jamie says quietly
"Stay here and watch out for anyone. If you see someone coming, stomp your foot hard. I'm gonna look inside to see if anyone is in there." I say quietly then start walking up the front steps
"Please be careful" I hear Jamie's little voice behind me say
I cup my hands around my face and look through the glass of the door and look around
I don't see anyone so I knock lightly and wait a couple seconds before knocking again a bit harder.
My eyes are welling up with tears in realization that we are probably not going to get away or we are going to get caught waiting on this person's doorstep.
I start backing up from the door and I turn around to tell Jamie it's no use and we have to keep running but then I hear the door open behind me
"Hello?" I hear a woman's voice behind me say
I turn around immediately
"Hi, My name is Fawn, me and my friend have been kidnapped by three men. Please help us." i say as the tears I've been holding in finally run down my cut up face
She looks shocked for a few seconds but then starts motioning for us to come in
"Jamie. Lets go" I look behind me and say while motioning for her to come
When we get in the random woman's home, Jamie and I are standing very close to each other we are nearly the same person.
"Can i get you girls anything?" the woman asks
"C-Can i use your phone to call the police?" i ask
"I can do that, just sit down and relax. Lord knows you need it." she says while getting her phone and dialing 911
"Hello, two girls came knocking on my door saying they've been kidnapped.." she pauses for a second
"657 Stateway park road, yes."
Jesus Christ could this woman go any slower.
"Whats are you girls names?" she puts her hand up to the phone
"I-Im Fawn and shes Jamie" I say to her
"They say their names are um. Faith and.. What did you say sweetie?"
