Always

Always in the shadows
Of the oaks and willows
Hiding in the fox holes
Securing my broken soul

Always in the canopies
Of the thick and dark leaves
Watching, watching everyone
Sheilded from the sun

I'm running, I'm running, running through the trees
Thorns are scratching, scratching, scratching at my knees
But I don't notice, notice, notice, notice them
Will I ever be safe

All I need, to not explode
Is too be free, from what I'm told
Don't follow me, if you don't like pain
Never again

Always in the background
Trying not to be found
Hiding in the big crowds
I hat the noise, so loud

Always in the corner
Of the busy suburb
Thinking in my dream land
But my mind can't understand

I'm running, I'm running, running through the trees
Thorns are scratching, scratching, scratching at my knees
But I don't notice, notice, notice, notice them
Will I ever be safe

All I need, to not explode
Is too be free, from what I'm told
Don't follow me, if you don't like pain
Never again
