*Apollo*

You awoke to sunshine and kisses on the back of your neck. "Good morning to you too, Mr. Flirty." You mumbled, rolling so that you could kiss him directly. Duncan smiled at you and you cupped his face in your hand. "We should get up." You said quietly. "I know, but I'd much rather stay here." He said pulling you closer to him if that were possible. "Cheeky bastard.." You said, pressing your forhead to his. "You love me." He said. "I do." You said quietly.

You and Duncan laid like that for what felt like an eternity. "We really should get up." You mumbled. "I know." He replied half-heartedly. "I really don't want to." You chuckled. "Still tired?" He hummed a yes. "I can't tell if your a vampire or a cat, but either way you're a total lazybones." Duncan rumbled what sounded like a purr. "C'mon, you can sleep on the way. That is if you let me carry you." Duncan hummed again. "Fine." You rolled so that you were on top of him, straddling his waist between your legs. "I'll just have to wake you up this way." You growled in his ear. You heard Duncan's heart speed up.

You chuckled, loving the sound. Duncan laid beneath you with wide eyes. "I can bite too." You growled at him, leaning against him to nibble at his neck. You felt Duncan's hands move you your hips. "Right now?" He asked. You knew what he was referring to. "Not today." You hummed, letting yourself relax against him. "I need to rest more. Plus, I just wanted payback." You mumbled against his skin. "You little punk!" Duncan rolled so that he was pinning you. You laughed a little. Duncan pulled you into a kiss.

When he pulled away, you were almost whining for more. Duncan winked at you and got up, going to the closet to get clothes. You growled and decided to get up. You followed Duncan to the closet and got your clothes. A pair of jeans ripped to hell and back and a grey tee. Duncan laughed to himself. "Can I still get that ride, or was that just to wake me up?" You laughed. "Yeah, I'll give you a ride. Only Cause it's not far and your light as heck." Duncan scoffed playfully. "You don't believe me?" He shook his head. "Not one bit." Oh, it's on. You came up behind him, acting like you were going to hug him, but instead you wrapped your arms around his waist and easily lifted him up. "What the-?! Babe!" You laughed and set him back down. "I told you." Duncan chuckled and let you hang around his waist.

You closed your eyes and rested your head on his shoulder. "We should go." Duncan said lacing his fingers through yours. "Yeah, I know." You sighed and let him go. Duncan spun around and gave you a quick kiss. "Should we have breakfast before we leave?" He asked, taking your hand. "I guess. I'm not really hungry." You shrugged. "I don't think I've seen you eat since I made pancakes a few days ago, how often do you actually eat?" Duncan asked. You shrugged again. "I don't usually have to eat very often, once every day or so. When I was in juvie they actually overfed me to the point that it made me sick." Duncan gave you a sideways glance as you walked downstairs. "So if you used up so much energy last night, how do you not need to eat?" You smiled a bit. "Sleep is one way. If I spend most of my time sleeping it gives my body time to recharge. I still eat for nourishment, but I don't have to eat often if I eat enough at once." Duncan nodded. "Well, Mr. Sleep, us humans still need to eat, so let me grab something real quick and we can go." You laughed at Duncan's cheeky remark.

You waited patiently at the bar for Duncan to make his toast. When he finished he took your hand and you both left.

When you were out in the forest, your body naturally relaxed. You were comfortable in this environment, it felt like home. You hummed, zoning out while you walked. You stayed in that state for what felt like only a minute.

"Hey. Hey, Lo." Duncan was trying to get your attention. Your mind came back to you and you realized that you had walked into camp. "What? What happened?" You asked confused. "I've been trying to get your attention for like 10 minutes. Where'd you go?" Duncan looked at you, worried. "I'm not sure. It felt like a dream." You felt tired even though you'd gotten plenty of sleep. You leaned against Duncan's shoulder. "Hey, stay awake. We still have to see if there is a challenge today." You hummed half-heartedly, yawned and picked your head up. "Challenge? I was hoping we could just hang out." You mumbled, rubbing the sleepy from your eyes. Duncan grasped your chin gently and turned your head to face him. "Holy crap, Lo. Did you even sleep?" You tilted your head, confused. "Of, course. I only woke up once or twice that I can remember." Duncan looked at you disbelieving. "Are you sure?" You nodded slowly. "Almost 100% positive. Why?" Duncan ran his thumb under one of your eyes. "There are dark circles under your eyes. You look like you haven't slept in days." You stared at him, not entirely wanting to believe him, but knowing at the back of your mind that it was likely true.

"I slept last night, I promise." You said, cupping Duncan's cheek with your palm. "I'm finding it hard to believe you, but, I trust you, so I'll let it go for now." Duncan's eyes still held worry. "I know. I'm sorry. I need to re-build my strength." You tried your best to ease his worry. "Don't apologize, it's not your fault, especially if you slept last night. You need rest. Let's go to the cabin, you can sleep there and I'll figure out if we have a challenge today." You agreed, hoping he would worry less. Duncan led you from the trees and into camp, towards the bass cabin. "I don't want to be alone." You said quietly. "I won't be gone long, okay? And I promise I'll be there when you wake up." You nodded, trusting that he wasn't lying.

You got to the cabin after a minute and DJ and Herold were inside. "Hey Duncan. Hey Apollo. What's up?" DJ asked from his bunk. "We figured you guys missed us." Duncan snickered. You elbowed him gently in the ribs. He laughed still, but led you to his bunk and helped you up the steps. "Is he okay? Did he get hurt again?" DJ asked looking in your direction. "He didn't sleep well last night." Duncan half-lied. "Oh, okay. Well, we'll leave so you can get some sleep Apollo." DJ and Harold both got up and went to leave. "Is there a challenge today?" Duncan asked before they left. "Not today, I think the next one is tomorrow." Harold answered. Duncan nodded. "Good. Now get lost." You growled gently at him. "What?" He asked, faking cluelessness. "Be nice." You mumbled. "Fine, okay. I'll try." Duncan climbed up to lay in bed with you. You hummed, content, and let yourself slip into sleep listening to Duncan's calming breathing.
