"Rivera, what the hell are you doing?" Draco asks worriedly as he rushes over to my side, I look up at him and latch myself onto him. I held onto him like he was the last one alive.

"What's going on?" He asks lowly into my ear making me feel warmer than it was outside. "I don't know, I don't know" I repeat, shaking from what just happened.

"Let's go inside, it's fucking cold" Draco mutters and lifts me from the cold ground, and brings me inside. "I'm scared" I whisper. I was holding onto his arm resting my head on his shoulder. 

"Well if you told me why you were on the fucking ground-" "Something or someone was in my head, and it paralyzed me" I cut him off trying to explain without sounding like a psychopath.

He was silent, did it happen to him too?

We get to the room of requirements and I fall onto his couch and put my hands by the heat of the fire. "I think he's getting closer" Draco breaks the silence and shakes off his shoes then takes his jacket off and hangs it on the coat rack. "Who?" I ask while rubbing my hands together. "Voldemort," He says and we both fell silent. We knew that both of our parents were death eaters, they never told us but we knew.

"What did it say to you?" I say curiously and he shakes his head, his eyes grew darker as he turned to me. "What do you mean, Rivera? Do you think I'm a freak just like you?" He snaps making me wince. That wasn't what I was expecting.

"I think I should go" I mutter then stand from the couch, I push past him and walk out the door. I heard him mutter things under his breath but I didn't give a flying fuck.

I open the door to my dorm and fall onto my bed. Nia wasn't here so I fall asleep as soon as I hit the pillow.

I walk down the stairs in my uniform and bag slung over my shoulder, tomorrow was the second task and I was scared as hell. Not for Cedric but for Harry.

"You guys ready?" I ask slipping on my invisible mask as I walk down the stairs. "Yes, but no" Nia says while Blaise and Theo stand up from the couches in the common room. Nia slings her arm around my shoulders and whispers in my ear, "That skirt is fucking short girl" I look down and I roll my eyes, "It's not too bad, I will get a new one"

We all separate for the day for our classes and the day goes on.

I had so much homework to do, so I walked into the library to an open seat. I thought I wouldn't see Draco in here but I do, with Pansy.  I roll my eyes and walk to the last table in the back of the room.

I pull out textbooks and homework and start the process. I hear a chair screech in front of me and look up to see Cedric. Oh shit. "Is it okay if I sit here?" He asks while he takes out a textbook. "Sure," I say while writing the answers down on my paper not shifting my eyes from my paper.

I finally finished my homework and Cedric was still there, "I will see you later" I say and pick up my bag from the chair. "Wait" Cedric grabs my arm, I rip my arm from his grip and turn around. I could hear a chair screech violently behind me to see Draco standing up from his chair and making his way towards me, I shake my head telling him I'm fine but he keeps walking towards me. "I'm going to go," I say quickly and speed walk to Draco then grab his arm to pull him out of the library.

"Meet me at our spot tonight, please" Cedric calls out from behind me. Draco shoves me off his arm once we get out of the library. "You're not getting detention for a year," I say while shaking my head, looking down at my slip-on black loafers.

"So you're saving me now" Draco scoffs in a fake surprise. "No I'm-" "Just save it Rivera" He scoffs then pushes past me to walk down the hall.

"What happened to the caring Draco that was there last week?" I call out from where I was standing, He shook his head and kept walking down the almost dark hall. It was currently sunset as the sun was on its last limb for the day.

I scoff then turn and walk to the common room.

"Hey" Theo smiles from the couch in front of the fireplace, I take a seat next to him and rest my head upon his shoulder. "Hey" I sigh as I slide my bag off of my shoulder, the room was buzzing around us so I close my eyes and focus on the now, I'm sitting beside Theo on this amazingly comfortable couch and I'm out of my parent's house.

"What's wrong?" Theo asks, I could feel his cheek pressed against the top of my head. "It's Cedric" I shake my head, I felt stupid. Why am I saying sorry for things I've never done? Or leading Cedric on? "Oh," He says, I could tell he didn't care, everyone wants me to leave his sorry ass, I would if I could.

"I should get to bed, the second task is tomorrow," I say then get up from the couch, "See you in the morning" Theo smiles and stretches his arms out above his head.

I slip on my nightgown, then slide into bed. "Hey," Nia says while climbing into her bed across from mine. "Hey, how was your day?" I ask while rolling over to face her. "It was fine, how was yours?" She asks. I could tell something was up but I didn't want to push it.

"It's always with Cedric" I sigh and pull the covers up over myself more. "Ah" She sighs and rolls back over to face the wall. I shut my eyes and try to sleep while the only thing on my mind was what happened last night.

...

I was closing the top of the bin of the wooden crate in front of my bed full of blankets and trinkets I've collected from past years. As you can tell I couldn't sleep last night, every time I closed my eyes I would think of that message last night.

"Well good morning," Nia says as she gets up from her bed. "Good morning," I say while strolling over to the wardrobe and pulling out a sweater and light blue jeans with a green and black scarf tied around my neck.

I walk down the stairs to see Theo and Blaise waiting for us. I smile and walk to Theo then latch arms with him. We all walk down to the great hall for breakfast, "How'd you sleep last night?" I inquire while he sighs "Good how about you?"

"Just fine" I half-smile and sit down across from Draco, I didn't see him walking down with us, maybe he was here before us?

I pick at the pancakes and drink my hot ass coffee, the heat of it distracts my mind from the ache in my head.

"Are you nervous for today, Jessa?" Blaise asks while eating a piece of bacon. "Just for Harry, that's it" I shrug while I look over to the Gryffindor table to see Harry, Hermione, and Ron already looking at me. I give a small wave and focus myself back onto my table.

"Not for Cedric?" Blaise asks while Nia shoves his arm and whispers something in his ear while he nods, "Nevermind"

"Jessamine Rivera?" Professor McGonagall taps my shoulder, "Yes?" I turn to face her.

"Come with me please" She smiles and holds her hand out for me, I turn to look at Nia and she gives me a small shrug. "Don't worry dear, you'll see them soon" Professor McGonagall says, I take her hand and she leads me out of the room.

We open the door to her classroom and I see Hermione, Ron, and Fleur's sister. "Ze Jessa! I haven't zeen you in forever" Gabrielle rushes up to me, she places a small kiss on my cheek, and I return the favor.

"Hey, guys" I smile at Ron and Hermione. "Do you know why we are here? I want to see Harry compete" Hermione whines as Ron looks at her, with a look on his face that could tell anyone she was going to be his one day.

"Everyone, this will just feel like a long nap," Dumbledore says calmly while clasping his hands together and nodding to Professor McGonagall who was already ready, pointing her wand at us muttering something under her breath.

She finally pointed her want at me and I fell into a very deep sleep, my whole body falling with me......

I wake up to being in the black lake also being held by Cedric "Are you okay?" He mutters as he pulls me out of the water. "Just tired?" I say, very confused about how the hell I just got here.

I felt a very warm towel draped over me, "Oh my God, tell me you're okay" Nia rushed to my side with Blaise and Theo on her tail.

"I'm fine, I'm fine" I sigh as I'm embraced by her. I shiver from the sudden warmth. "Let's get you back to the common room" Nia smiles while taking my arm.

"Hold on, I want to see who wins" I whine. "Fine" Nia rolls her eyes.
