( A/N I forgot to put the POV for the last chapters so just in case there was any confusion they were all in Lucas POV I'll start putting them in now that I remembered lol😂)
POV Luca
" so Luca, when you were out we went through your stuff, not as an invasion of privacy we just wanted make sure you didn't have any drugs, or weapons with you for our safety. As we were looking I came across your library card, ( I'm a book worm, bite me.) so I had some people run a background check just because we wanted to know if you had any family looking for you, but the only family we came across was your father so I contacted him and set up a meeting. Angelo and I wanted answers as to why a 9 year old was out on the streets. Anyways when he show up he smelled so strong of alcohol, that you could probably get drunk off the fumes. So I connected the dots and quickly called my lawyer, and a social worker I had them come over within an hour your father signed over his parental rights without a second thought and that about brings you up to date. Bridget and I have every intention to treat you the same as if we were your bio parents which means you'll have all the love you could ever wish for."
Wow I can't believe my father just signed over his rights without any hesitation he really hated me didn't he?
"Uca....Luca" I heard papa saying my name
" sorry I was zoning. What's up?" " mama and I were just wondering if you had any questions?" I thought about it for a second then realized " how long was I asleep?"
"A few days, your body was so exhausted."
"Ok, that explains that but about this whole calling you guys mama papa. Do I really have to call you guys that?" I said in a whining tone "Yes you do, it'll help you trust us more." Papa said "Alright, well I'm glad we got that out of the way, but Luca still has a doctors appointment we need to get to."
Mama said in rushed tone, I'm assuming our conversation took longer then expected. " I'll come with you guys, I have nothing to do for the rest of the day, and I'd like to come to the first one anyway. And maybe if mama lets us, we may be able to have lunch out." Papa said looking at mama with an expression on his face that said pllllllleeeeaaassseee-agreee with puppy dog eyes. " oh alright, we can have lunch out but stop making me out to be the bad guy,Toni!"
Everything was silent until...............
Papa said...........
"You do that to yourself."
Papa got up and ran out the door faster than you can say run.
