Michael's Angel

Chapter Ten

"PRINCE! PARIS? WHERE ARE YALL?" Yelled Marylin. It was around 3 pm and the kids have not come out of the forest.
Everyone was worried and they all decided to split up to cover more land. Marylin and Micheal were a team so they went north.
"KIDS? ITS NO TIME TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK, PLEASE COME OUT" Micheal yelled. His voice was very shaky and sobs could be heard from his voice.
"Gosh Im so stupid. How could I let them go by them selves?.." he said, sadden that his kids weren't with him.
"DONT say that Mike, it's not your fault ok? Well find them" Marylin said as she rubbed his back. She looked around but there were no signs of them being there.
Just as they were about to head back, Marylin felt a shiver down her spine. She turned around to find no one was behind her.

She knew something was up.

They returned back to their meeting spot where the others were unsuccessful to find the kids.
"No luck you guys" said Marlon.
"How about you Michael?" Asked Jackie. Before he could answer Marylin shushed him. They all looked at her in confusion as they saw her eyes wondering around the forest. Everyone stood quiet for a couple seconds.
"What's wrong?" Whispered Latoya.
Marylin didn't answer but instead gave a death glare to what seemed to be at Michael. She walked over to a tree and broke a long, strong branch, not keeping her eyes of of him.
She walked further back as she tied her hair in a ponytail, still with the same glare at Michael.

"Stephanie? What's.. going on?" Micheal said as he noticed her anger in her eyes. She didn't answer, instead she broke the stick in half and ran as fast as she could towards him. Before anyone could react, Marylin pushed Micheal to the ground and stabbed what seemed the air. Micheal fell on the floor as Latoya ran to help him up.
Marylin stood in complete silence as the invisible force slowly started to shape form into... an Angel?
Everyone's eyes grew big as they saw how huge the thing was. Marylin realized who it was.

Ezekiel.

Ezekiel fell on the floor as he held on to the stick that Marylin stabbed onto him.
"Hey Marylin.." he said.
Marylin's eyes grew in disbelief.
"YOU STUPID DUDE! WHY THE HECK WOULD YOU SCARE ME LIKE THAT!?" She yelled as she kicked him in the sensitive area.
Ezekiel groaned as he laughed.
"I-I'm sorry, I thought that was funny" he said.
"But now, my end is near.." he said dramatically as he reached his hand out to the sun.
"Remember me Marylin." He said before fake passing out.
"MARYLIN?!" Everyone said. She forgot she was with the Jackson family and turned around slowly.
She chuckled nervously as she waved at them.
"H-hi.." she said.
"Your name is not Marylin, it's Stephanie" Micheal said as he leaned on Latoya's shoulder for support.

"Well-"
"Her name is Marylin. Matter of fact-"
"Shut up!" She said as she kicked him again with her foot.
"Ouch!" Ezekiel let out a groan.
"Your immortal dramatic. Get up" Marylin said as she picked him up.
"We can discuss all of this later for now we have to find the kids" Tito said as he went out to search for them again.
"Kids?" Ezekiel asked. "He looked over at Micheal, then at his siblings then at Marylin.
He let out a huge gasp.
"NO. YOU. DIDNT" he said as he finally realized what Marylin has done.

"Shhh! Just help us find Prince and Paris" Marylin said as she dragged him further into the forest.
"Your looking for them? Girl they're back at their house geez" Ezekiel said as he stopped in his tracks.
"What do you mean?" Marylin asked.
"Yea. They're back I side their house watching cartoons. I saw them before I came here to scare you."
Marylin and the other sighed in relief as they walked back to the house.

"All this time we were searching for nothing. How fun." Randy said.
"Yea" everyone agreed.
"Sure. And I'm still wondering why 'Stephanie' lied to me about her name" Micheal said annoyed. He didn't even want to look at her eyes. Marylin felt guilty, but figured since he's safe and everyone in his family is as well. Its only fair to say the truth.

All of it.

They arrived to the mansion were they were greeted by Katherine and Joseph. They talked about the whole situation, including the part where they met Ezekiel.
Katherine gave everyone a glass of water in which everyone drank the whole thing. Except Ezekiel.
"What is this? It's so shiny and.. clear.. we don't have this in heaven-" he said before he got hit by Marylin's elbow.
Some spit out their water from their mouth.
"H-heaven?!" Tito said as he coughed out some of his water.
Ezekiel rubbed his stomach as he nodded in pain.
Marylin sighed as she gave him a death stare.
"Could. You. Ever. Shut. Up?" She asked.
"Mmmmmm. Nah. That's what you get for leaving me alone for a century. We were suppose to be friends Marylin!" He said as he gave a pout.

"Let me get this straight. Your from heaven? AND your name is Marylin?!" Jackie said as he pointed at each of them.
Ezekiel nodded in agreement while Marylin tried to hide her face.
"You have explaining to do" Micheal said in a Cold tone.
Marylin felt a heavy sensation in her heart and her soul. She took a deep breath and sighed.
"Well... It's kind of a long story..."
"We have all the time in the world"
"Fine. But I would rather not let the kids listen. It's heartbreaking, well. For me"
"Okay then. Prince, Paris. Go upstairs and wait there till I call you guys, ok?" Micheal said as the kids ran upstairs. Everyone took their seats in the couch and looked at Marylin.
She felt uncomfortable but she had no other choice.
"Well. Uhm. I'm not.. human. And it's kind of hard to explain"
"Tik, tok Marylin. They're waiting" said Ezekiel.
Marylin inhaled and let everything out in one breath:
" I am an angel that came from the kingdom of heaven. I have been working there as to protect the innocent lives that have been lost there for centuries now. My full real name is Marylin Denise Amherst Grace and I am the only angel that can travel on all three worlds without any issues. Heaven, earth and the underworld. I am in charge of being the right hand of my mother, Mary." She said as she let out a deep sigh. She looked up to see everyone's reaction. Priceless. They were amused and it was clear.
She then looked over at Michael with tears almost visible.

"I sent my self here on earth to protect you all for years, although my first priority was Micheal Jackson. I have been defending you, Micheal, from the negativity this world was to await for you. I protected your life, your family, your kids, your career, your reputation. EVERYTHING. Ever since 1992, I was by your side day and night making sure nothing would happen to you.Despite all the frustration you put yourself into for your history your, your 30th anniversary, and your This Is It tour, I was here. I have always been. I cleaned up the messes you made, your mistakes. The times we got in arguments, it hurt... it did." She said as she smiled through her sad eyes.

"But either way, I never gave up on you.." and with that she wiped her fallen tears from her face.
Everyone had sadness in their eyes, but mostly Michael.
He stood up and gave her a hug.
"You... did all that?.. for me? But why?" He asked breaking the hug.
Marylin looked over at Ezekiel which he gave a nod of approval.

"Because, you are a kind soul. You have always been kind to others especially children. You went through a hard childhood but yet you seems to always be happy. Knowing your passing up in heaven hurt. Even though it's a land of happiness, it hurt a lot. You did so much good in this world, I couldn't bare to acknowledge how cruel it would be without you. I had to do something. Although I may or may not have broken many rules-" she said as she got cut off by Ezekiel.

"243 to be exact" he said in a matter of fact tone.
Marylin sighed and looked over at him.
"Thanks for letting me know, Ezekiel" she gave a sarcastic look before looking back at Michael.

Micheal smiled and gave her another hug.
"Thank you.... for everything... for being here with me for 17 years of my life. If only I knew sooner.. I would have thanked you even more" he said.
Marylin smiled and hugged him back. They stood silent for a while before Jermaine interrupted.
"Let me get this straight even more. YOU! ARE! AN! ANGEL?! Am I the only one confused here?!" He said as he looked around the room.
Katherine stood up from her seat and walked over to Marylin. Micheal walked back to his spot to give them both some space.
Marylin's eyes widen as she gave a small smile.
"I knew you were an angel. I always did" she said.

Marylin giggled as she grabbed both of Katherine's hands.
"And I always knew, you were special since the first time I created you" she said as she smiled.

Everyone gasped.
"What?!"
