"From this day until you have gotten your Warrior name you will be Screwpaw!" Lionstar yelled "Your mentor will be Thornclaw!"
Throneclaw touches noses with Screwpaw and all the cats yell "Screwpaw! Nightpaw! Swiftpaw! Screwpaw! Nightpaw! Swiftpaw!"
Swiftpaw stays near Hawkclear.
Everytime her clan mates says her name she gets butterflies.
Swiftpaw looks up at Hawkclear "What are we learning today?" Swiftpaw asks once the clan meeting is over "Well I'm going to show you just the healing herbs ok?" Hawkclear replies then he walks into the Medicine's cat den pulling out herbs.
Swiftpaw follows. "Do you know this herb?" Hawkclear asks pointing to a herb. Swiftpaw studies it. "Is it...."

"This is where you will sleep. Good night Swiftpaw. You were really good! Tomorrow we will go herb collecting." Hawkclear says curling up in her moss bed. Swiftpaw looks at hers then walks into in and curls up.
Today was a busy day.
Swiftpaw wakes up being prod in the side "Come on Swiftpaw. Wake up! Wanna go herb collecting?" Swiftpaw jumps out of her moss bedding "Oh yes! Herb collecting!" Hawkclear walks out of the Medicine's cat den and walks to the entrance with Swiftpaw close behind.
Hawkclear walks to the abandon twoleg den "Here is catmint. But we have enough." Hawkclear says. Swiftpaw studies the place around the catmint. "Ok! Now where?"
Hawkclear leads Swiftpaw deeper in the woods to come to a yellow-ish plant. Swiftpaw goes up to it. "That's Goldenrod right?"
Hawkclear chuckles "Yes that is Goldenrod. Can you get some?"
Swiftpaw goes over to the flower and picks at the stem. "Ok I got itf." Swiftpaw meows with Goldenrod in her mouth.
They head back to camp and drop the Goldenrod in the store in the Medicine's cat den. "Go get something to eat and bring me a vole." Hawkclear tells Swiftpaw while laying in a sunny spot.
Swiftpaw runs over to the fresh-kill pile and grabs a vole and a shrew then heads back over to Hawkclear. She puts the vole at Hawkclear's paws. He looks up and sniffs the prey "Thank you."
Swiftpaw grabs her shrew and heads to the tree stump and lays down. She takes a bite out of the shrew and looks around to see Lionstar and the Deputy, Foxclaw, talking to the senior warriors, Hawkmark, Graytail, Thornclaw, and Littlefire.
Her littermates are doing battle moves with the other apprentices.
She finishes her shrew then takes a nap in the newleaf Sun.
