POV VIVIAN RUE HOLLAND
Christmas is coming up. And personally, I think it's the most wonderful time of the year, because Christmas at Hogwarts is a different level of celebration.
As the Christmas Holidays are getting closer, the school is slowly changing to a castle you can see on a Christmas card. Christmas trees are everywhere you can imagine. In the corridors, the classrooms, common rooms, James even made one appear in the ladies bathroom.
When you enter the Great Hall, you are blinded by all the shiny Christmas ornaments and candles glittering in the trees and the ceiling.
But the best thing is that everyone seems to get closer to each other, during Christmas times. It even seems as though Sirius and James have warmed up a bit towards Severus.
"So, what are our holiday plans?" asks Peter, as we all jump on our couch and make ourselves comfortable.
"I'm going home." starts Remus.
"Same." say both James and Peter. This makes Sirius' eyes widen.
"You want me to stay here with just the girls?"
"Well, without me. I'm going home as well." says Marlene, with a guilty look on her face.
"Me too." Dorcas, Mary en Lily say all together.
"Vivi, please tell me you're staying." I shake my head.
"We're all going home. You too, Sirius." says James, still looking at his best friend.
"You think I'm going to Grimmauld-"
"Since when do you see Grimmauld Place as home? That was just 'Your family's home'. We're going to Potter's Cottage, with the complete gang." I say, with a bright smile on my face.
"Really?" "Why would I lie about going home?" asks James.
"Sounds good to me." Sirius finally says, with a smirk on his face.
"Come here." James says, before hugging his best friend.
"That was the first time I saw those two hugging each other." Dorcas whispers in my ear.
"But it's cute." I whisper back. She nods in agreement.
"Guys, Quidditch Practice is in an hour." I say, as I stand up. I'm slowly losing my motivation to play, as the weather is getting worse every time we play, but we have to keep training in order to win the cup. Everyone nods and we get towards the Great Hall, for Lunch.
POV SIRIUS ORION BLACK
"Vivi? Vivs, I'm going to talk to Reg." She just nods and I walk over to the Slytherin table.
"Hey, little Slytherin." I say, as I drop down next to him.
"Hey, big Gryffindor." I smile and we have lunch together, talking about random stuff.
"However, are you going to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas?" He suddenly asks. I shake my head.
"I'm going to James'." I explain, when I see his confused look.
"Ohh. That explains it. It would've really surprised me if you voluntarily went home." my little brother says, with a smile on his face. I smile as well and I hug him.
"It'll be strange, not being at Hogwarts during Christmas." I say. Usually, Regulus would stay, just because I stayed. Now, it means he's going home as well.
"Is your girlfriend coming as well?" he teasingly asks, as the conversation continues.
"Yes, Vivi is coming as well. Just like all the others. The complete gang is going to James'." I say.
"Good. That means you'll be in for a great Christmas." I nod again.
"But I'll miss you, little bro." I say. He nods again.
"I'll miss you too. But we'll see each other again after the holidays, alright?" I nod and we both stand up, because we have stuff to do. I have Quidditch Practice and Regulus has to finish a Potions Essay.
