recap: clay asked george to be his boyfriend as fireworks began to go off

the next day, george woke up to a loud knock at his bedroom door. "george wake up! i have a surprise for you!" wibur said. george groaned but got up and opened the door. 

"what time is it?" george yawned. "time for you to meet very important people" wilbur smiled. he grabbed george's arm and guided him downstairs. standing by the front door was niki and the twins. 

"uncle george!" the two little ones yelled. they ran up to him and hugged his waist as that is as tall as they could reach. "oh my goodness! tommy! tubbo!" he said hugging them back.

"hi george!" niki smiled bringing him in a hug. "hello niki" he laughed hugging her back. "this is such a good surprise" he laughed. 

then, clay appeared at the front door. "and this day just keeps getting better and better" george said as he hugged him. "who's that?" tommy asked. 

"everyone, this is clay, my..boyfriend" george said saying that for the first time. "you can date boys?" tubbo asked. "yea you can" george smiled. 

every sat around talking for a bit. tommy and tubbo wouldn't leave george's side but george didn't mind. 

after a bit, they all went to visit alex's grave. they stood around the stone with his name on it. "who's alex?" tommy asked reading the name. "that would've been your other uncle. but he had to go somewhere for a while" george said. 

"where?" tubbo asked. "heaven. he's going to be there for a while" george smiled. 

george placed a bouquet of purple orchids under the stone.

"happy birthday alex"
