"Outside all morning . . . except Greeneology," said Rei as she ran her finger on a written class schedule. She was already in her standard black robes. Looking at the clock, she figured she has enough time for breakfast before going to her first class: Flying class followed by a two-hour class of Greeneology, and Charms.

Rei grabbed the doorknob and it swung open revealing a tall guy with hair as brown as hers.

     Rei gasped, "Professor Reeve!"

"Breakfast." Eliot raised a plastic bag full of random foods, from pancakes to mashed potatoes. "I don't know which one you like, so I grabbed whatever's on the menu."

"I can get my own foods . . . sir."

"That won't be necessary because your foods will be delivered to your room starting today,"

     "But —"

"No. Delfin's orders." Eliot shoved the plastic bag to Rei. "Eat. I will take you to your first class today."

     "But —"

     "Stop delaying and start eating."

Eliot pushed Rei back and closed the door.

The food wasn't as bad as Rei thought — that or she was just that hungry. It took her no less than fifteen minutes to finish breakfast and when she opened the door again; Eliot was still there.

"You were serious. . . ." said Rei.

     "I told you. Delfin's orders."

A lot of things changed in Nesting Peak, except for the Squealers. Rei wished they were the ones who returned home and kept their squeals there. Many eyes rolled as Rei and Eliot walked their way from the hallways to the field on the west side of the Castle.

"How much have you learned from Professor Lynch?"

"I could stay up in the air for about thirty minutes now. . . . Today's lesson's Pressure Flight."

"S'that the thing where you fly with lots of obstacles floating around?"

     "Yup! That's the one!"

Eliot did not answer Rei and they were left in awkward silence. Only the soles of their footwear touching the ground gave sound to the deafening silence. Rei even whistled just to have something to hear.

It wasn't long before they reached the field where the other students were waiting for Professor Lynch. Eliot left as soon as they arrive.

Class began immediately as soon as Professor Lynch arrived. One after another, every student opened their wings. Rei couldn't help but think of Brooke all the time she uses her wings. It was Brooke who bought it for her. It was black. . . . It was to match her black wand.

It took exactly one hour before Professor Lynch dismissed the class. Everyone passed Pressure Flight, and surprisingly, Rei got the highest score. No obstacle hit her . . . or the other way around.

"You miss her, don't you?" Mika Pozo, for the third time, asked Rei. It was either third or fourth, honestly, Rei didn't care.

"Eight, Rei . . . I counted," Mika smiled. "You've spaced out eight times since Greeneology. You didn't notice that, did you?"

Rei shook her head and dug herself on the seatwork given by Professor Ada Villanueva, their thin Greeneology professor. It was her least favorite subject. The subject contains a bunch of memorization, which wasn't really her strongest suit. Plus, Professor Villanueva's voice was as though she has been the shyest person in Terravir. Most of the students had to ask Professor Reeve to teach them listening amplifier charm just to hear Professor Villanueva at the back of the room.
