"Okay, so let me get this.....clear." Julia paused in front of me with her arms slightly crossed as I dramatically flopped down on my bed, which by the way is never made up because I'm always in it. So in conclusion, my bed will more than likely be violated with my body as long as I shall live.

We were back at our dorm after leaving Mr. Bryson's classroom. Coincidentally, the very second we returned to his classroom, the bell rang on cue allowing us to sneakily grab our stuff before Mr. Bryson finished having a brief conversation with one of the professors down the hall. Julia insisted we turn back around and acknowledge the fact that we definitely, but not intentionally skipped the rest of his class but I managed to somehow convince her to wait.

"Ever since the day of Mason's funeral, you've been having repetitive nightmare flashbacks that reflect on what happened the day he died, and now that time has gone forward you're currently seeing him as a ghost and he's tormenting you until you confess the truth?" She repeated slowly to understand. I nod in response, throwing my head back onto my pillow.

I suddenly closed my eyes and envisioned myself being at a writing conference in New York with millions of cameras flashing brightly across my face. Proudly holding one of my most famous books in my hand. Fans shouting with great excitement while desperately waiting in line to get an autograph...

"Callie! Callie over here!"  I turned slightly towards the photographer that was the closest and quickly gathered myself for a picture. Before the familiar flash shined my eyes, I smiled widely.

"Ms.Grisham, what has certainly inspired and motivated you to write this book?" A news reporter questioned beside me, tensely holding the microphone near her mouth before shoving it in my direction. I paused shortly smiling confidently, observing everyone behind her. I wanted to breathe in the moment, memorize the feeling and what it meant to be loved by everyone. Admired..

"Hey," Julia tossed a pillow at my face, bringing me straight out of my daydream. "Did you even hear me?" She tossed another pillow at me, this time instead of hitting my face it smacked my head and bounced off landing on the rug. I remained silent and she scoffed, rolling her eyes. "I call it that you're gonna be full-blown out deaf by the time you reach the age of forty." She snickered.

I giggled, shaking my head lightly before tossing back her pillows, "Sorry, I spaced out. What were you saying?" She sighed, "I was saying that-"

"Knock, knock." A deep voice sounded behind the door to our room. Julia cursed under her breath, turning around to head for the door. Once she opened it, a tall dark-skinned male figure walked in and greeted Julia by the lips. Expecting them to do little to nothing I decided to linger a bit longer as the short kiss quickly transferred into a make-out.

"Excuse me, two shades of grey. I'm still here."
I pointed at my chest as they broke apart.
"Whoopsie." He chuckled in a low tone, causing me to lock eyes with him before Julia swirled around to look at me, "Keaton and I are heading out for lunch before my next class starts. Wanna come with us?"

"And be a third wheel again? I decline that offer."

"Oh come on, we aren't that bad." Keaton smirked as I sat up on my bed, "Oh really? So the last time the three of us went to the movies which was last weekend to see Fears Awaken, the two of you fled the theater room to get "more popcorn" only to miss the rest of the movie to vacuum each other's lips off?" I tilted my head to the side as he remained silent, with nothing else to say. "That's what I thought."

"Anyways, have fun you two. I'll be in here doing what Callie does best." I stretched my legs back onto my bed and retrieved my laptop from its charger. "Ahh, Callie. The greatest writer of Ohio." Keaton bowed as I logged in, giggling at his silly gesture. Julia went to grab her purse from her desk and swung it on her shoulders before connecting her hands with Keaton. "I'll bring you back some food before I leave for class, okay?" Julia said as they headed for the door. "My favorite?" My eyes lit up as she smiled big, winking at me as she closed the door behind them.
