"Who are you?"

Uwaaaah~! Looking at them closely, it looks like Lydia is being held hostage. I should hold it in! I shouldn't laugh.

"Pff--- *cough*"

"Stop it if you don't want me to expose you." she whisper to me and pinch my arm secretly.

"I'm sorry, Lady Scarlet." I couldn't help but laugh at this situation.

"I ask you a question. Who are you?" what a fierce lady.

"I am the youngest daughter of Viscount Wagner, Scarlet Wagner. It's a pleasure to meet all of you." wow! What a long intro! If it were me, I would be out of breathe.

"The pleasure is ours, Lady Scarlet. May I know that lady behind you?" what a beauty! She must be the figurehead of this group judging by the air around her.

"I am just nothing but an insignificant one. What an honor be notice by such exceptional person such as yourself Countess Amaryllis. I am Blair Bella, my lady." Thank goodness! I didn't ran out of breathe. 

"Oh my! What a humble person you are Lady Blair! Please have a seat next to me. I would love to get know you." she smile at me.

When I sat down, I didn't notice that there's a person lying on the ground with his face downward. She is resting her feet on his back like a stool for resting her feet. Is this person her slave?

"Please don't mind him. He is nothing but a pet and a foot stool for me."

"Yes, I don't mind at all." I sip my tea.

"What a lovely bracelet you have." she is about to touch it but I move my hand subtly.

"Yes. It was a gift from my grandmother." I never let anyone touch this. That's how precious this is.

Gift. Oh! I have to give my gift to Lydia. Thanks to countess for reminding me.

"Lady Lydia I  have brought you a gift to show you my gratitude. I hope this is to your liking." I handed my gift to the maid to give it to Lydia.

"Thank you, Lady Di---Blair! I love it!" she almost slipped.

Oh well. As long as she is happy, that's all that matter. Her smile was worth being lost in the city to find a bookstore. (❁'ω'❁)

Lady Scarlet also gave her gift. She made a dress for Lady Lydia and it is so gorgeous! As expected of Lady Scarlet! She will have her own shop in the near future and I will be her very first customer. I will buy all the dress she design even if it cost me fortune!

"I almost forgot to give my gift to you, Lady Lydia." Countess Amaryllis said.

She give signal to her maid and then there's four men came out of nowhere holding a.......

"A lion?" Lady Lydia exclaimed. She is clearly surprised and scared of Countess Amaryllis's gift.

"Oh no! It's called Nyxacthaeon, a hybrid. A mix of a lion, goat, lizard and what else.... Oh! And a bat!" she seems so happy to see Lydia's terrified face.

"I heard you like animals so I brought you something unique that you only possess in this entire kingdom." Countess Amaryllis's friends sneer at Lady Lydia's reaction.

"Do you like it, Lady Lydia?" she ask her.

*scoff* Like? Such a boring and nonsense thing to ask.
