"Lady Diana!"
"Lady Diana, where are you?"
"Lady Diana!!!"
I can't find her again! Where is she?! I ask everyone in the castle but they haven't seen her!!! How can that be!!!
"Mei did you find her?" I turn back and saw Cyril out of breath.
"Sir Cyril did you think that I am still here if I found her already?" I am getting frustrated.
"N-no. I'm sorry, I'll search for her again." He ran away.
*sigh*
"I can't believe that I serve someone who is difficult and good at hiding."
When I saw Lady Diana for the first time, I thought she is just like any noble lady that I would be serving. And when I started to work under her, my impression of her changed.
[Flashback]
"Ummm... Maid? But I can take care of myself."
Well I heard that she was living as a commoner for 15 years and Sir Josh found her last year. Sir Josh suggest that if she refuse, I just had to this.
"My lady, I prepare a snack for you in the gazebo. Sir Josh informed me that you love to spend your time there." Her eyes suddenly sparkle.
"This way." I was reluctant at first but I can't believe it works.
"Wait, I'm still thinking---"
After that she share me her foods and for some reason, she didn't want anyone to help her bath. Is she hiding some scar that she didn't want anybody to know?
Huh? She is inside the bathroom for quite some time now. Don't tell me, she drown?
"Lady Diana?" I knock but
She fell asleep? She must have been really tired that she fell asleep on the bathtub. I should tie her hair before waking her up.
"Lady Diana---" I let out a gasp.
Is the reason why she wouldn't let me help her bath or clothe her. Wha---what is this?! How--?
"Pervert." she suddenly talk and tilted her head up to look at me.
"I...I'm sorry, Lady Diana! I-i didn't mean to---"
"It's fine, Mei. People will eventually find out about this but not now." she get out of the bathtub and wrap herself with towel. Her voice is gentle but it posing a threat.
"So let's keep this a secret between us. Please." she left me dumbfounded.
[End of Flashback]
After that we go back to what we usually do. She is still treat me the same like that night never even happened. I wanted to ask her a lot of things like how she got that scar on her back but... I restrain myself. If I get too close to her, I may not fulfilled what I came here for.
But first I need to find Lady Diana who is hiding somewhere... again.
