"HEY SPENCER!" LEAH opened the unlocked door to his apartment to see him sitting on the couch.

the two had gone out on four dates so far. four amazing dates. but, even though they've already said "i love you," the two weren't officially together. well, in their minds they were- they wouldn't dare even think about going out with another person besides the other. but spencer still hasn't asked the question.

but he's going to. tonight.

"hey leah," spencer stood up and walked over and hugged her tightly, holding her in that position for a few seconds before pulling away and kissing her forehead.

they then both sat on the couch together, turning the tv on. the two were planning on watching a few doctor who episodes together, since leah hadn't started the series yet.

after around a half hour, the first episode ended and spencer asked leah what she thought about it.

"it's pretty good!" she responded to his question. "i like rose tyler a lot more than i thought i would."

"well i'm glad you liked it," spencer grabbed her hand and looked over to her. "do you want to watch a few more episodes? i'll order some chinese food."

"sure," leah responsed, and spencer got up to grab his phone, asking leah what she wanted to eat. he ordered the food, and the man said it would be 30 minutes.

spencer then sat back down on the couch and started playing the next video. leah laid her head on his shoulder, getting comfortable. spencer put his arm around her, pulling her closer to him.

10 minutes into the episode, leah snaked her arms around spencer's waist, leaning down more on him.

spencer smiled at her motions, his heart racing a bit, but he overall became more relaxed.

by the time the episode was over, the doorbell had rung meaning their food had arrived. leah moved off of spencer so he could get up and get their food. he stood up, grabbing some money off of the counter and opening the door. he paid the man and grabbed the bag of food, placing it on the table.

"do you want to eat now?" spencer asked leah. "or do you want me to put it in the fridge for later?"

"you can put it in the fridge," leah told him. "i'm not that hungry right now. i can wait."

spencer nodded and walked back over to the couch.

"hey, i actually wanted to um- talk to you about something," spencer said sitting down next to leah on the couch.

"yeah, what's up?"

"well, we've gone out a few times and all, but we haven't actually made things official yet."

leah's breath hitched. she didn't know why.

"do you-do you want to make things official, leah?" spencer asked her.

leah smiled widely and nodded quickly. "more than anything."

spencer laughed a bit to himself, smiling at her. "so, leah gray, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

"of course," leah wrapped her arms around him tightly as he did the same to her.

when leah pulled away from the hug, she kept her face close to spencer's, staring into his eyes, her eyes flickering down to his lips every now and then.

she then moved her head a bit forward to kiss him and he gladly reciprocated.

they kissed for a few minutes before leah pulled away.

"wait," leah said. "we have to tell hotch now, don't we?"

spencer sighed. he hadn't thought about that. "yeah, i mean, we kinda have to."

"when do you want to?"

"we can do it at work tomorrow, is that okay?"

"yeah, sure. we should plan something out, to prank the others."

leah stopped leaning on spencer and sat cross legged on the couch.

"how about only one of us tells hotch?" leah started. "and then when that person comes out of the room, you somehow bring up how it's much safer to kiss than shake somebody's hand, and then we just kiss in front of everyone?"

spencer was a bit shocked. "i-i mean, yeah, why not?"

"are you sure? we don't have to do anything if you're not comfortable with it, we don't even have to tell hotch yet, we can wait a bit."

"no! no, it sounds like fun. how about you go to tell hotch and i'll start talking about how it's much safer to kiss while you're talking to him- and then when you come back out, i'll tell you what we were talking about and then- you know."

"sounds perfect," leah reached over to kiss him. "they're gonna be so surprised."

"will they though? i mean, surely they must have noticed something."

"nope, not that i think. the last time me, jj and emily talked about dating was when they showed up at my house before you picked me up- and they thought i was still going out with oliver."

"you didn't tell them you stopped seeing him?"

"no, but i haven't talked about him either so i'm guessing they at least know that i'm not seeing him anymore."

"ah, okay. well, i cant wait for tomorrow. i can finally shove it in derek's face that i have a girlfriend before him."

leah shook her head and laughed at the boy, kissing him once more before leaning her head on his shoulder once more and playing the doctor who episode.
