The other was genuinely surprised to hear that.
"Mhm! She's always talking about how much she wants to be like you and how much she admires you. It's really sweet"
There was silence again.
"I think you should talk to her sometime. Barb doesn't think she's good enough yet to talk with you, her own sister. Just let her know you're there for her. Small talk with her. Have chats over tea with her sometimes. Really anything works."
The maid stated, not look at Jean.
Meanwhile, the blonde was still trying to process everything she said.
"Thank you. I'll have a small chat with her once we get in our vans"
After that, she received a smile.
