I am never washing my cheek ever again. After I mistakenly and very stupidly leaned in and got rejected all, well most of my embarrassment went away after Julie kissed my cheek. The rest of the night was a breeze. Putting the borrowed equipment away, denying that me and Julie have something going on, sneaking back in, still trying to convince Alex and Reggie nothing happened between me and Julie, getting ready for bed, Finally ignoring Alex and Reggie and last but not least failing to fall asleep because of the curly haired girl.
It wasn't until the morning after breakfast when the guys and I were walking around the courtyard when Reggie finally remembered to give me a piece of paper that Flynn gave him to give to me. It had Julies phone number on it.
"Wait, how did you get this?" I asked when Reggie first gave me the sacred piece of paper. "Oh Flynn gave me Julies phone number and told me to give it to you after we totally weren't spying on you guys. And I gave her your number as well."
(smooth reg. next time i'm stakeouting in someone's bushes remind me to leave you at a puppy store with ice cream and pizza)
"What why!" I continued "Well because it seemed fair. I also scored Flynn's number. She said it's for "business" purposes only but who can resist the reg-meisters smooth pickup lines bound to swoon any lucky lady."
Alex buried his face in his hands.
"Umm I don't know what the deal is with the "reg-meister" but now Julie knows my number" "And that's a problem because..." Alex challenged. "That's a problem because...Flynn could tell her something Reggie accidentally told her and she'll think I'm really dumb and block me before I get the chance to text her" "Yeah, ok" Alex says rolling his eyes.
I feel a buzz in my pocket and I get a text notification.
Messages:
unknown: hey this is luke right? this is flynn
Luke: yeah this is luke. not to sound rude but why are you texting me?
Flynn: i know your secret
Luke: what are you talking about. what secret...
Flynn: oh please
Flynn: the secret where your actually royalty?
Flynn: next in line to the throne too
Luke: how did you find out?
Flynn: reggie told me all about the three of you
Luke: i'm guessing you told julie already
Flynn: i didn't
Luke: please don't, as much as i hate keeping it from her, she can't know
Flynn: fine
Flynn: i can tell you really like her, just know that her heart has been broken before
Flynn: and you do not know what i will do to you if it breaks again
Flynn: also im sending you a picture to put for my contact
